"We had a fabulous long weekend at The Vestry celebrating my dad's 80th. The house was an excellent size to accommodate all the family (10 of us), with the living area being a great size for our celebrations, and relaxing. The hot tub was a welcome addition and was well used throughout. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs whilst there. There are a lot of stairs to get to all of the various bedrooms, not a problem for most, but my parents had to use the first floor bedroom....

"the owner was helpful and friendly and we where invited to help feed them which was lovely also we had a spacious bedroom /living room and comfortable beds and kitchen area where well equipped ."

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

"So appreciated the tea/coffee and cereal, after a longhaul flight. Shower cubicle esp door joints needs a good scrub with a bristle brush, will come up gleaming. Otherwise superb place, bed super comfy, linens & towels spotless."

"Lovely breakfast provided and thoughtful, ample parking and easy access to the ao arena, taxis and takeaways nearby easily located would reccomend, only thing was working out the heating ! 😀 "

"It was just lovely. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and the location was fabulous. The local pub The Dog Inn was lots of fun on a Thursday night as it was quiz night. We will definitely be back as have family local and it’s the perfect place to stay and spend time with them. "

"The Nest is a great self-contained, first floor, two-room apartment (kitchen-living and bedroom-bathroom). It has been decorated and fitted out with modern and comfortable fixtures and fittings and is warm, quiet and spotlessly clean. The welcome tray of a few little treats, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge was a nice touch too. I'll certainly book again!"
