"The manager was very welcoming. The place was clean, quite n a good vibe. "

"The island was amazing. We were there for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home and special. The rooms were spotless and always prepared for us (ie. bed made, turn down Service, bug nets downat night). I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone going to Victoria falls!"

"I truly loved this lodge that is located in the middle of the safari. Upon entering the lodge, I passed a herd of elephants in the middle of the road. There are signs around the lodge indicating the rhinos in the area, as well. The chalet, which was like a tiny house, was decorated beautifully. The staff was extremely helpful, and they assist you with booking excursions you can enjoy. Van drivers come to get you to take you to your excursions."

"Our stay at the Protea Livingstone was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful, our breakfasts were delicious each morning. Our room was comfortable, warm and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to stay for us to explore Livingstone for 5 days! It is a beautiful hotel and we highly recommend it."

"A comfortable stay in a hotel that offers very good value for the location. All staff were excellent. We were upgraded to a family suite which was very convenient. Would certainly recommend to families visiting the Falls, and on a budget."

"What a wonderful stay! This unique eco-lodge is lovingly built with so many fun and artistic features. We really enjoyed the cool sleep and outdoor shower but the grounds are quiet and picturesque too. The staff is beyond attentive and helped us book a safari day at Chobe as well, for a very reasonable price. The restaurant menu is a bit limited but it’s so close to everything that it’s easy to find some variety nearby. We will be recommending Munga to everyone! And we hope next time we come to...

"Really liked the people and the lodge. But the city or country rations the electricity--in a country that should be exporting hydroelectric power, meant that power was off for hours and wifi was sporadic. Sad."

"This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It is so magical and everyone working there made our stay so incredibly special. Watching the wildlife from the banks of the Zambezi was breathtaking, and there were always dozens of elephants around the road in/out of the hotel."
