"Did not like: the room do not have side tables on the one side of the bed, they only provide 1 chair for a 2 queen bed room. Other than this, everything was good and staff are very helpful and accomodating, the location is very quiet and perfect."

I was able to walk to all the sites and restaurants in Canmore. It was a convenient location to base my trips Banff and Jasper National Parks. I know some rooms do not have AC and I am very glad that my room did, as it was very warm (July) The hot tub was not open the last two nights of my stay, but I did enjoy it the previous nights"

"We stayed in a 2 bdrm 2 bath suite with a balcony, it had everything we needed. The outdoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna were awesome after long days hiking! The only thing I would have liked to see is a little market or restaurant on-site that could be utilized to grab things rather than running out to a grocery store, gas station, restaurant, etc."

"The room was so much nicer than I expected! Wish we were staying longer. All rooms on one side of the hotel look out onto the hot tub which is a bit weird when you are in it and people are looking down on you. The bed was fantastic. The room was large and had a fireplace. Easy walk to Beamer's coffee shop and other shops. It was a great stay."

"The room was poorly maintained, with torn windows which allowed the insects to enter the room and there were cobwebs and the areas were not cleaned. Very frustrating experience! Not worth the price! Had a tough time with my family! They should invest in repairing the property before renting!"

"Solara used to be a great place to stay but now it looks run down and poorly maintained. I got multiple scam attempts before our stay so when the last message came through Expedia, I didn’t even open it. Little did I know that I needed that message to check in and no one would be there at arrival. Check in was not easy and required a trip to another resort because Solara does not have front desk staff. I would not recommend staying here and will not return"
