Custom built Victorian home is designed for multi-family use. This home has extensive windows with high ceiling and 2 balconies overlooking the forested mountain backdrop with a view overlooking the ski hill. The basement has been expanded to now include 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen and living room with TV and DVD player. The bedrooms are 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bunk bedroom with double bunk on bottom and single on top.

Main floor has a Master Bedroom and a 2 full bathrooms, large dining area and large kitchen. There is a Barrel Vaulted ceiling over the loft that overlooks the high ceiling Living Room. The main floor as a bright open floor layout. The upper floor has a loft with 2 queen hide-a-beds and a bunk-room with 2 double bunks on bottom and single bunks up and a master bedroom with queen bed and balcony plus another full bathroom with double sinks. The walk out basement has a heated ski-room with laundry and walks out to covered deck and covered spacious Hot Tub. This Home offers a 55" and 42" flat screen HD TVs with blueray players and high speed wireless internet. Well stocked kitchens with full compliment of appliances.

There is an easement beside home that is groomed and offers extra snow fun and sledding for small children right at the house. The home is tastefully decorated and has been totally renovated in 2018 with new kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and furniture and plumbing and lighting fixtures, and has a display ledge of model houses, vehicles and more. This home now has central air conditioning and will make your mountain vacation a truly memorable pleasure. We insist on no smoking and no pets for the comfort of all guests.
Security or Damage Deposit

A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 CAD is due 30 days prior to arrival.
When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 15 days of departure.

Pet Policy, Deposit and Fees

Pets are not allowed due to bylaws/regulations/policies.
NOTE: Persons traveling with and requiring a Service Animal have special rights and must be granted access regardless.

Cleaning on Departure

Cleaning on Departure is included in the rent
Guest is expected to remove the garbage and recycling on departure.
Guest is asked to start the dishwasher.

Parking

Parking is free.
Waterfront and/or Beach

Property is NOT waterfront or within 30 minute drive of a lake, ocean or river.

Snow Skiing and Boarding

Ski/Board Out is directly to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is directly back to the property (no walking).
Home is a ski in/ski out via cross country skiway to the Silver Queen slope just a short distance away. A utility easement adjacent to the home provides an extra small child groomed run for sledding or some snow fun at the home.
This reservation has a No Refunds cancellation policy.
There are no refunds given for this property.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.

So easy to ski from the property right to the lift. First day was a little difficult to get back from the village area with a 5 year old…..but once we discovered there’s a shuttle service from the village that takes you right to your doorstep…piece of cake for the rest of the week. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare big meals, and the dining area easily accommodated our gang of 14 Everyone loved the chalet and wants to come back next year.

We were an adult family of 12! This property was perfect for our stay! We ate all our meals here and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking for this number of people. The dining table was large and the open concept great room meant we could all be in the same area. We enjoyed the hot tub! We would definitely return to this property again.

This home is absolutely perfect for a large family. We had three generations of happy skiers staying together, each with their own personal space. One small family slept on the top floor, which has its own living space plus a large bathroom with double sinks, a lovely master bedroom and a great bedroom with two bunks, both with single beds above, doubles below.We, the grandparents slept on the main floor and though the ensuite was not attached, it was private and had both a shower/bathtub and double sinks. Right beside this private bathroom is another bathroom which has a shower, toilet and sink. Our bedroom was large with plenty of closet space.Our daughter’s family slept downstairs, where there was plenty of room for all, and as a bonus also had a lovely kitchenette.The main floor living space is wonderful, with a large kitchen and dining table, and a very large sectional and cozy chairs. We felt very welcome and comfortable in this beautiful home. After a day of skiing the large hot-tub was greatly appreciated.The location was great, very near the Silver Queen chair and Tube Town.We would highly recommend this exceptional home for a larger family to share while enjoying all that SilverStar has to offer throughout the year!

Very lovely property - lots of space to separate the generations. Beautifully stocked kitchen.Only down side was the number of stairs needed to get from the parking to into the house, but once inside it was worth it

This was the perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday with a group of friends and family. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, and during the day lots of space for games, eating, hottubbing and more. We enjoyed outings on the gondola, hiking, and to the pub in the village. Overall, a fantastic weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Silver Star. We laughed and had so much fun spending time with friends and family and made lifelong memories. The sign said it all... Enjoy the little things in life for one day you'll look back and realize that they were big. We would definitely come here again.

Beautiful accommodations, plenty of room for all of us. Close to all amenities, clean and modern. When we arrived, the dishwasher had an error code. We contacted the homeowner, and they had a repair person to us within the hour. I would highly recommend it.

The house is very well-kept, and the central kitchen is well-equipped to accommodate a large group. The bedrooms and living space were excellent. The ski out is at a short distance from the main lift. Ski-in will take a little longer to get back—well-maintained hut tub. I would highly recommend this place. The hosts were great and answered all our questions very promptly. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay! Thanks

House has all the amenities, including shampoo and conditioner in case you forget yours. Many bedrooms and places to sleep. Master suites as advertised don’t have attached bathrooms. But the bedrooms were big and there were plenty of bathrooms with hot water available for everyone having showers. This house fit our group perfectly. Owners are very friendly! I highly suggest staying here.

We had a great vacation at Silver song. Bernie and the Vance Creek team were super responsive. The accommodation was cozy and provided the perfect space for us all - enough room when we all wanted to be together, and cozy nooks when we needed our own space. We will book again.

We enjoyed our second-annual visit to Bernie and Doris's house and were treated to the same wonderful accommodations. The location is perfect, right on the Nordic trails and close to Silver Star village and Sovereign Lake Nordic. The kitchen provided ample tools for fixing our American Thanksgiving dinner and the whole house was kitted-out for all our needs. Can't wait to come back!
