Walk to Hurricane Marina!

Plan your next family getaway to our private cabin located less than 1/2 mile to Hurricane Marina.

Our home is perfect for two families or a get away with friends it features two master bedrooms, both with King size beds and 42" smart TVs streaming services. The upstairs loft area sleeps six there are three daybeds with trundles and there is an additional pull out couch in the living room which features an open floor plan and a 60” Vizio smart TV.
From the moment you walk in the front door you will notice the soaring exposed beam ceiling and completely open floor plan with 10 foot custom kitchen island with seating for six, and additional table and chairs with seating up to 6. The kitchen is a cooks dream, all brand new appliances and utensils it is fully stocked with all essentials and there is plenty of room to move around. It is open to the living room and can easily accommodate family and friends. There is a very private covered deck that looks into the woods with an outdoor table with seating for six a ceiling fan and gas grill.
The basement has a large playroom for the kids with a 60" Vizio smart TV, leather sectional couch, hanging chairs and professional size air hockey table. There is also a large laundry room with new full sized washer and dryer.
Everything in the home is brand new including very comfortable beds, bedding, furniture, all appliances, utensils, cookware and TVs so that you may have a trouble free and comfortable stay in our home.

Amazing location located 1/2 mile from Hurricane Marina and all they have to offer from boat rentals, supplies and seasonal weekend restaurant. Floating Mill campground and day use beach area are just around the corner from our home. There are multiple hiking locations within a short drive. The cabin is just one hour from Nashville, and just 2 hours from Knoxville and Chattanooga. There are so many things to explore and enjoy in the area from boating, to canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fly fishing on the Caney Fork River. You will truly get to explore nature and unplug!

The house was awesome and perfectly fit our needs for a Thanksgiving family getaway. The interior is nicely updated, and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Being in the woods and near the lake made it easy to take lots of peaceful walks. Just down the road is Burgess Falls State Park, which has an easy walking trail with multiple beautiful waterfalls.Katie was a wonderful host, and we appreciated the information she provided about things to do in the area and where to shop for groceries. You can’t go wrong with this well-kept home and super nice host!

Middle Tennessee Home Away From Home

Hurricane Marina is the middle of middle Tennessee and the perfect location for your getaway. The house is comfortable, homey, has everything you need and is a great jumping off point for exploring, lakes, state parks and Nashville.

The Perfect Place for a Relaxing getaway

We loved everything about the cabin. It was spotless, comfortable, well appointed and such a fun place for our two young grandkids. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Katie made sure we were happy with everything.

Beautiful property and well maintained, very clean, nice and quiet neighborhood. We have such a great time as a family, we like to hike and be around nature, this was absolutely perfect for us. The host was quick to respond to any questions that we may have. We will recommend 100%.

Walk to Hurricane Marina

We enjoyed our stay near Hurricane Marina! The house was adorable and an easy drive to/from Nashville. The kids loved all the swing chairs and game room. S’mores at the fire pit was a perfect end to a great day of hiking. The driveway took a bit to get used to and we went during off season for the lake so there didn’t seem to be quite as much to keep us busy but we had a much needed relaxing stay.

Very cozy, chic cabin near the lake!

This property is such a cute, updated cabin near the water. Space for everyone, and the kids loved it! Great sleeping spaces, and the game/tv room in the basement was a huge hit with the kids.

Lake weekend

The BEST girls getaway!

We stayed at Katie’s beautiful lake cabin for my sisters bachelorette party weekend and it was absolutely PERFECT! We had exactly 10 girls and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The cabin is so beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed (and then some)! The location to Hurricane Marina was in easy walking distance which was a huge plus for us! Katie was great with communicating with me very quickly and gave wonderful recommendations on nearby places to eat. She even allowed us to change our weekend very last minute when the bride had a sudden death in her family and we needed to change dates. We really enjoyed s’mores around the camp fire and games, movies, and friendship bracelets in the main living room. Amazing host, even more amazing stay at this gorgeous house. Thank you so much, Katie, for sharing your property with us!

Great accomodations!

Katie was an amazing host with a really great house for our two families of 5. The kids had a blast with the air hockey table, hammocks and loft sleeping quarters. Everything we needed for our meals was in the kitchen (except a drip coffeemaker) and it all felt new and clean. Beds were comfortable. As was noted, the driveway and roadway are a bit challenging but we managed :) Thank you Katie!!

Family Reunion

The accommodations are well appointed and everything you could possibly need is there. If staying with a full house, the floors creak throughout the entire house. There is not a lot of privacy as you can hear everything and everyone throughout the house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location!
