  • Relax in paradise! Your cozy studio is STEPS away from a PRIVATE entrance to #1 rated Siesta Key Beach, a short walk to shops and restaurants. This location is AMAZING! A large outdoor pool is right outside your entrance. Tennis, Pickleball Courts, Shuffle Board, Basketball, BBQs, a Clubhouse and more! Your condo comes furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay with lots of amenities. A Fully Stocked Kitchen, Fast WiFi, SmartTV, Beach Chairs, Private Parking and MUCH MORE!

    The studio is ground level and just steps to the private entrance to the beautiful views of our white sand beach (Condo is NOT ocean view, it faces the pool). This is a great space for anyone who does not like to navigate a lot of stairs (there are just a few at the beach entrance) or elevators and would prefer to walk directly to the beach in just a couple of minutes. In terms of location and proximity to the beach, this property is an absolute gem!

    A friendly note before you book: Casa Mar has a wonderful private beach entrance, but Siesta Key is a wide beach so the first part of the walk to the water includes about 30 meters of deep, soft sand. If you have knee, foot, balance, or mobility issues, this may be difficult to manage. We want every guest to have a comfortable stay, so we recommend considering this carefully before booking.

    Our studio has a very comfortable queen bed as well as a queen sofa bed that pulls out to accommodate an optional 3rd guest.

    Our kitchen is fully stocked with essentials for those who would like to cook their own meals. We are also very close to shops and restaurants.

    There is a small sitting area outside our studio overlooking one of the community pools. Beach towels and and beach chairs are provided.

    Paid laundry facilities are 2 doors down from our unit. Finally we have employed enhanced cleaning methods to provide an immaculately cleaned and sanitary home.

    Parking, Location and Getting Around Siesta Key:

    Parking: Right outside the condo back door is a private parking spot for you to use during your stay.

    From Airport to Siesta Key: In terms of getting here from the airport, we are closest to Sarasota airport. Uber and Lyft are available at Sarasota airport as well as a taxi service. If you fly into Tampa, then it could get more expensive to Uber since it is a good distance away (1.5 hours away).

    Getting Around Siesta Key:
    When you get to Siesta Key, there are multiple options to travel from Casa Mar (our condo complex) to the other areas of Siesta Key.

    There is a free trolley that comes every 20 minutes and it stops at the SCAT bus station right in front of Casa Mar. This trolley will take to you both North and South Villages (that have shops and restaurants and are about 1-2 miles away).

    The following shuttles are also available. They do not charge a fee but do operate on tips:

    Siesta Key Frog Hop

    Both villages have rentals for bikes, scooters and golf carts.

    Please Note: The Casa Mar Condo Association has the following exterior work scheduled on our property:
    -September 14-21st Landscape Removal
    -September 22-28th Paver Install
    -October 12–23rd Exterior Painting
    -November 02-09 Landscape Installation

    The work will be outside the unit and will take place during daytime hours. The association has told us they’ll make every effort to minimize any disruption to guests. There are two entrances on either side of our condo, so we don’t anticipate it having a significant impact on your stay, but we wanted to let you know in advance so there aren’t any surprises.

The room was fully equipped with everything we could have needed. Pots and pans, beach gear, extra blankets and pillows.Even coffee for the coffee maker. We were directly across from one of the pools, and a short walk from the sand. Our stay was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo, while small, was perfect for my husband and I, and had everything we needed. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Best of all access to the beautiful beach was close and easy. Walk out the door and 5 minutes later you’re laying on a lounge chair enjoying the ocean.

This place was absolutely AMAZING. The owners greeted us when we checked in and then called to ensure everything was ok. Our place was right across from the pool, not a far walk to the beach. Walmart delivery of groceries was fast. We will be back and request this exact apartment!

Long weekend at the beach

The location, private beach, amenities, and nearby free trolley to shops and restaurants made this the perfect place for my daughter and I to relax, play in the water, and get a sunburn! The condo was great - the bed and couch comfy and all the little extras in the stocked kitchen were much appreciated. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

We could not have asked for a better location, a more helpful/pleasant host or a more wonderful getaway. Our place was lovely, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. So close to the beach and some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen! Would love to come back for a longer visit.

This is an older condo that has been remodeled. Our hosts has provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is quite a walk to the beach but well worth it. We were so impressed with how immaculately clean it is kept. We would recommend this host to all travelers and will book it again for next year!
