"If you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. "

"My wife and I loved our stay here. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the front deck was very relaxing with the stream flowing right in front. We spent most of our time out exploring, there is so much to do in this area. The hike to the top of the lookout tower was amazing (best to drive up thru Bassets and then towards Packer Lake so that you don't have to drive up the rough unpaved road from Sierra City). "Great vacation in our favorite little town. The location is close enoigh to talk to town but very peaceful. The house was comfortable ans we enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Thanka for the great trip!"

"This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more."

"We stayed at this property for 4 nights and we unfortunately had some bad experiences, most of which were avoidable by the property managers - we had to deal with mice running around in the house, not cool, not hygienic and freaked everyone out- house was in beaten up shape with need for lots of updates - beds were saggy, couches were old, dinning table seats had no cushions and hurt our butts, drains were clogged- TVs are old and running on not so reliable platforms- Basketball hoops was broken...

"We had a golf tournament in the area, and this was a perfect place to stay. Lots of room and very comfortable. The host was easy to contact and answered all questions immediately. We’ll keep this place in mind the next time we’re in the area!"

"In town for a wedding, the house was recently renovated. It was clean, comfy, and just as the listing described. We had a great weekend, and would stay here again. "

"I really enjoyed my cozy stay. I enjoyed some wonderful peace and quiet which is exactly what I needed. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I had everything I needed. The cabin was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the trees are amazing. Also, their labradoodle and kitty are awesome. "

"We wanted somewhere close to Mill Pond so our kids would get a great view of the fireworks and this location didn’t disappoint. We had a 10 min walk for truly excellent seats of the fireworks. The place was clean, quiet and beautiful. Friendly neighborhood and people. Only downside was when i tried to contact the owner (silly thing but a black widow in the bathroom), we never got a reply. Glad there wasn’t a bigger issue because of no response. "

"This home is very well stocked for an adventure in the Lost Sierra! The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking in, all the rooms and beds were comfortable, and the backyard was great for hanging out. "Property had everything you need for an out of the way getaway in the mountains — little gems everywhere we looked. Need a hammock, they’ve got it; want to play an old or new album, yep a turntable too; and much more. Kitchen was great with coffee grinds ready and all. Kids loved the space for playing games and relaxing after a day out and about in the mountains. Master suite was away from kids rooms for a nice space to ourselves. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the morning to yourselves...

The creek behind the house was perfect for lounging in the sun and taking a cold dip, the house was well-appointed and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the grill and deck. The deck railing is a bit unsteady and could use some repairs - we made sure not to lean on it during our stay. "

"This home was an absolute joy. The spotless kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and more. The appliances were top-notch and immaculate. The home had enough room for our entire (large!) family to sleep very comfortably, and there were more than enough pillows and blankets for everyone. The patio was perfect for grilling hamburgers and having s’mores around the fire pit. The neighborhood was so quiet that we slept with the windows open. The hosts are very responsive and helpful....
