"Short stay but have stay at property before, still and excellent ran staff and room as well maintained."

"Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something. But overall we had a very good stay and would return."

"Beautiful room, we stayed in the separate rooms outside from the main building. Extremely warm welcome with a tour of the stunning pub. We were invited for complementary canapes - which unfortunately we couldn't make. Huge room and bathroom with a little terrace. Massive comfy bed. Breakfast was really premium with awesome vegan option. Very quiet surroundings. Perfect location to grab a morning run on Dunwich Heath. Parking was easy and safe. Loved every minute and will definitely be back. "

"This property is a real find. It has character and it is reasonably priced for the service received. Breakfasts were great and reasonable choices for our 2 night dinner stay. Very close to a pebbly beach and not far from Southwold, Aldburagh, Norwich and the broads."

"We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. "
