The hotel staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful.
Our bed mattress was one of the BEST we have experienced in quite some time of travel: firm mattress, good pillows.
So pleased to have had air conditioning on our July trip - and really good AC, at that.
Paddington Station is just a couple of minutes' walk down the street, as are Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury's (groceries).
We had no trouble finding excellent cafes and pubs in this neighborhood, and we felt safe, early morning to late evening.
Hyde Park and all it offers is just a short walk away as well.

Found the reception team very rude, didnt really care to be serving anyone.
Room was ok, small for the price we paid but ok. Shower screen didnt shut and the light kept going on and off.
Shame on our one night away with no kids that a fire alarm went off at 5.30, followed by a flashing light in the room for around 10 minutes. Ruined the experience.
