Moonlight Ridge is a beautifully designed, modern A-frame cabin, uniquely outfitted with all the necessary amenities and more, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings on Heartwood Mountain.

The Space

Kitchenette: This kitchenette is fully stocked and ready for warming up takeout or preparing light meals during your stay.

Sleeping Arrangements: Moonlight Ridge is a studio A-frame designed for intimate comfort, with the main sleeping area seamlessly integrated into the living space.
• Main Bed: A comfortable King bed, plush mattress, and hotel-style linens.

Bathroom: A full bathroom stocked with fresh towels and plenty of shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. Enjoy the large soaking tub or the convenient walk-in shower.

Deck: A large, private deck with two wicker chairs for resting and reading, a propane grill for your grilling needs, and of course, a hot tub – fresh and hot for every stay, perfect for dipping in during cold nights and mornings while enjoying the incredible views!

Outside Area: A dedicated fire pit area features four Adirondack chairs, with complimentary firewood and a starter kit available close by for cozy evenings under the stars.

Guest Access
Guests will have exclusive access to the entirety of the cabin, including the deck, the surrounding outside area, and the parking spot. Guests are welcome to walk around the property, enjoy the walking trail, and use the other common yard areas as desired, with respect to other guests, of course.

Moonlight Ridge is one of four cabins located on top of Heartwood Mountain, a beautiful local ridgeline overlooking the local forest and game lands of the PA Wilds. While each cabin offers privacy, you will have neighbors, though this will in no way detract from your nature experience.

Things to Note:
• Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival and noted on your reservation
• WINTERTIME: Please note that 4WD/AWD is highly recommended during the winter months (December-March). During heavy snowstorms or ice on the roads - 4WD/AWD is required. While we do plow and salt the roads, they can still be difficult to traverse using a regular vehicle, especially if we have had a lot of snow. Use caution.

The cabin is gorgeous and definitely worth the price. Had a couple bumps but no fault of the host just some weather related issues with the wind knocking out power. Overall would definitely book again.

Perfect couple's get-away cabin, very cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub, even though the weather was a little on the nippy side. Great host with excellent communication.

The cabin is outstanding! Simple and cozy with a view you normally see on a postcard. This is also the first house I’ve stayed in with newer kitchen equipment IE pots, pans, knives. If you go during hunting season keep an eye out for the hunting blinds along the hiking trail. This wasn’t an issue by any means just thought it’s good thing to mention. Maybe wear a bright colored shirt.

Absolutely beautiful. 10/10 would recommend. We had the best experience inside and out. Peter has a great host both attentive and accommodating. This was glamping, you get the serenity of nature combined with top tier amenities. The mattress was very comfortable and everything you need is there to complete your stay. This is a must see!
