"A group of my classmates booked this location to give us a quiet place to stay while we attended Jim Thorpe Days at Carlisle Barracks, Army War College. Three Rooms with comfy beds made this a nice place to retreat after the games. Depending on traffic it was a 15-20 minute drive to the post. There is a laundry room downstairs that doubled as a nice cozy corner for my dog that traveled with us. Over all a highly recommended location. "

"This was a good fit for all of the people in our family to gather for the weekend. Toys snd activities for all ages of children. Plenty of space and sleeping arrangements. Fully stocked kitchen. Close to all of the Gettysburg tourist spots. We didn’t have any issues during our stay."

"The house was great! Beautiful and charming, as well as clean and nicely renovated. Chris left a welcome gift and was in communication throughout the stay if anything was needed. Plenty of linens and towels. The kids loved running around the backyard. We’d definitely stay again. "

"We stayed in the Stone House for our extended family vacation. We had a great time. The space was large enough to meet our needs - especially since one of the adults uses a wheelchair at all times. The entire downstairs was accessible and the bed and bathroom were well thought out. The kitchen was well furnished with plates, coffee pot(s) tea options and pans. "We had an amazing stay at the Getty House celebrating my graduation from seminary. The house was comfortable and spacious enough for all 7 of us. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the fire pit and playing games at the dining room table. Everything in town was within walking distance and we did a lot of shopping and sightseeing. It was a wonderful way to spend our week together. "

"I enjoyed my stay. It’s in a beautiful location. I am a 60 year old woman. I was staying by myself and I felt completely safe. I was able to visit friends in northern Maryland, a short drive away, as well as spend a day in Gettysburg. Perfect weekend homebase."

"We stayed for two nights while introducing our kids to skiing at nearby Liberty resort. We were fortunate to get 6inches of beautiful snow while we were there, and enjoyed tremendously watching it blanket the trees around us Eileen was very helpful and ensured we had snow shovels and salt! Definitely will be back! "
