"Very clean, very comfortable, great staff."

"You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set."

"I hate to write negative things, this inn has many things going for it. The mattress in room 6, however, badly needs to be replaced. You sink in about six inches when you sit and the springs squeak and groan every time you move. There is only one accessible grounded outlet by the door. Other outlets are concealed behind furniture. Ungrounded extension cords are provided. The market next door which presumably provides a free breakfast wasn't open for the season yet. Other than that, the room was...

"Very easy parking, clean rooms, and friendly staff. It's just outside town and an easy ~10 min walk to main st with coffee shops, etc. Rooms are slightly dated but well maintained and comfortable. Everything we needed for our hiking trip to Acadia."

"This inn was so charming. The room was decorated in a nautical theme. I loved the hot made to order breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and the cute patio to sit on. It was also a great location - very easy to walk downtown. "

"Fabulous hotel! Rooms were very clean. I have a view of Frenchmans Bay and downtown Bar Harbor. Sunrise everyday over the lobster boats and lobster buoys. Breakfast was great. Hotel has front loading washer and driers where you need a room key to get in, clothes safe. Front desk personnel was friendly and provided water bottles when needed. Very close to Acadia. I loved this hotel!"

"The hotel was very misleading. When we were booking all the photos were of the main hotel up the road and we ended up in a tiny room in the motel down the hill. The bed was well past its use and my husband ended up hurting his back because of it. The room was so small and very dated. Wish I would have done more research. I would not stay there again. "

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "
