"This property was a 10 out of 10. The mountaintop view was amazing. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. The inside of the house was so beautiful and nicely decorated and one of the cleanest we have stayed in. I appreciated the book with all the instructions on the tv remotes and the hot tub. It also listed places to eat in the area along with menus. It was such a relaxing place and we can’t wait to visit again!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Fernweh! The quiet, seclusion and peacefulness was just what we needed. Loved the hot tub while drinking my morning coffee and listening to the relaxing sounds of the river. "We had a great time at the bass cabin! It was perfect for us. It's very private and has a beautiful view from the front porch. The off leash laws in the area are apparent as we received 3 visitors (dogs) during our stay, which we didn't mind. "

"Cabin was better than the listing proclaimed. Kitchen was stocked with nice cookware and anything one might need, clean and comfortable but the best part was the secluded location, very peaceful and the view was beautiful! Saving this one for a repeat!"

"The property is ideally situated near the water fall - it is literally in the back yard to view. To hike to get a better look , you are short walk away from it and the scenic trails—once we parked, we didn’t feel the need to leave. It’s incredibly peaceful and serene, making it the perfect escape for a quiet weekend getaway. You can shop for groceries at the little downtown store or go to Fort Payne-if you need more variety. Downtown feels like something out of a storybook: charming, small, and...

"Wonderful stunning views, bountiful kitchen supplies, loved and well taken care of beautiful property and wonderful hosts! Could have used some lake floats and/or cleaning of the Algae ladder was too slimy to get in and out of lake. As a result could not partake in the lake but otherwise was divine!!! "

"Beautiful little cabin with, very secluded, and perfect distance from all the hiking spots. I was impressed with how well stocked it was with essentials. We also saw deer twice as we were coming down the road. "

"this is out 5th time booking this place and besides the always reasonable price, the remodeled cabin is the highlight. The isolation of the rental is idea for privacy .the communication with the rental owners really make things very easy , they are not robots , they genuinely care about you being comfortable. You can even speak to them before booking if you have questions. This time , we spent a lot of time around the fire pit outback , and it was extremely nice"
