"This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. "It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. "

"A favourite holiday destination for us and this property is in a fantastic location for accessing local amenities and great walks. The house is well laid out and equipped, and offers generous and comfortable accommodation. The host was very helpful and quickly responsive to messages. We'd love to visit again. "
