"The vintage cottage was quite charming. Our family enjoyed the close proximity to Isle of Skye and the tranquility of being nestled in the woods after a full day of exploring. "Wenn man das Haus betritt, stellt man zunächst fest, dass die Räumlichkeiten schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen sind. Bis auf die Bäder wurde hier lange nicht mehr renoviert. Wenn man dann allerdings in die erste Etage kommt und die grandiose Aussicht durch die riesige Panoramascheibe des Wohnzimmers genießen kann, dann sind die Zimmer schnell nebensächlich. "Lovely place to stay with ideal location to walk into Kyle, short drive to Eilean Donan Castle or access to the road bridge to the Isle of Skye. Communication was excellent by the host. So homely and all facilities high end. Easy parking.Will absolutely book here next time we stay. "

"We loved this location! Andrea was a great host who gave local recommendations. The room was great with the fabulous view you see in the photo here. The kitchen was compact and fully equipped. Although we hadn't anticipated cooking, we wound up cooking a couple of meals here. There's a great bakery a short walk away and a castle within walking distance. It's a great jumping off place to explore the island of Skye (which we did) or as a gateway to the Highlands. "

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site.
