"Wonderful place to totally relax. It's exactly as expected with a short ride to shopping and a **TERRIFIC** beach. The view is amazing and interior level of finishes are outstanding. Lots of space, convenience, and quiet solitude. What more can one want? "

You are right on the water, within 5-10 min from town and have all the best amenities. I would highly recommend staying here and definitely will look to stay here again in the future. Thanks Kerry! "The house and hosts are absolutely incredible! Perfect for large groups or families. The basement adds a massive extra space for hangouts / activities / games without disrupting anyone asleep. House has everything you could want in a lake rental. The private lake area is great being in a cove, only downside of this property is the walk from the house to the steep steps going down to the water which would be tough for olde generations. "

Enjoyed watching the free range chickens and walking the maintained paths on the property. Great location, close to village center with shops, restaurants, a great market and a great bookstore. "

"We enjoyed a very relaxing two-night getaway in Pat’s ground floor apartment. The views are gorgeous and the apartment is set up beautifully, with lovely art and numerous fascinating cookbooks. We found the bed incredibly comfortable. While we had all we needed for our light cooking, the kitchenware offerings were extensive. The Newtown General Store, recommended by Pat, is a must for delicious and inexpensive sandwiches. After a bike ride from Monroe to Trumbull, we had a great time sipping...

"We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway."
