"First we get there horrible service on phone wifi they gave us was wrong so I updated to them the right one. We get it the pool it has a strong chemical smell once my kids get out the have the worst rashes ever due to bacteria in the pool. I tell them they ask my if need them to come check it out and they never did. My babies were in pain with the rashes. There were lots of ants also in the kids room so they had to sleep somewhere else host kept ignoring me "

"Wonderful home with a lake view (and access for swimming) that is peaceful and comfortable as well as pet friendly with a fenced-in yard. This house made for a perfect relaxing getaway! "

"We enjoyed the location and the views. Easy access to the lake and the water toys provided really made our trip. My family had a great time and 10/10 and we will definitely be back. "

"Last minute get away to this very clean and quiet retreat. Communication with host was top notch. Beautiful area. If I'm in the area again, I will be booking another stay!Side note * I would recommend to make sure that if you have other people in your party that are in different vehicles, that you give their names to the host so you dont run into any problems checking in at the gate of the neighborhood. "Loved the waterfront view of this property and the backyard seating area is perfectly set up to grill and have dinner outside and watch the beautiful Lake Livingston sunsets. We loved the hammock as well and our pups enjoyed roaming in the backyard too. The property manager was friendly and responsive. "

"Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need for cooking and baking. Was a shortage of spoons, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths, 1 trash bag was not enough for a 5 day stay. Coffee pot takes awhile but it will make coffee. Fridge very cold, enough to freeze salad mix, be wary of the bottom drawer. Huge pantry, no light maybe bulb burnt out. Some gnats in almost every room, fly swats are in pantry. Big dinning room plenty of seating. Table legs a bit wobbly, dollar general down the street...

"Bluegill Cottage was amazing. We went here for a quiet relaxing weekend and that is just what we got. From s'mores around the fire to jumping into the lake. Lots of great memories were made here. And the lake house was the perfect size for our group of six. Tuan was also an amazing host! It was taking a little longer than usual to cool off the house and since he couldn't get anyone to come check the air conditioner that day, he did not hesitate to come over & make sure it was running properly....

"This tiny home was so cute and we appreciated all the details. There were fresh eggs from their chickens and a Kuerig with several options. Despite being a tiny home, it felt very spacious. It also felt very clean which is a huge plus for me. I would stay there again! It made me want a tiny home of my own. "

"This place was amazing. It was just what we needed to get away from city life for a short while. The property and the cabin were gorgeous. Not having wifi and cell signal was a big selling point for us on the property as we wanted an unplugged weekend. The walking trails and the pond was lovely. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend staying here. "
