"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration."

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"We stayed 2 nights in early August at this cute location. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Host was very prompt with answering texts, and the cabin was clean and well stocked to prepare breakfast. We will certainly be back! "

"Beautiful home in a quiet area. There were lots of things to do within a short drive. We checked out cute local shops. There were also many stands selling local produce. It was a fun but relaxing trip. "

"We really enjoyed our weekend here. The place was clean and comfortable, and a great base for outdoor activities and just staying put. There are neighbors, not too close, and it was very quiet. The whole process was easy, and we would definitely come back!"

"Perfect place to stay in Harper’s Ferry. Cottage is exactly as pictured nestled on a quiet street. Very clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. The fenced yard was large and the perfect area for the dog to run in. The hosts were pleasant and responsive."

"Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and...

Extensive thought has went into caring for your stay and that you have the things you need! I like the fact that it feels like home with the same quality of items you'd buy and use yourself. "We had a great stay at the Spy House for our family reunion in Harper’s Ferry. The location was perfect and the house was exactly as advertised. The owner was communicative and accommodating. We will hopefully return soon!"

"Our weekend cabin stay was wonderful. The safe neighborhood was quite and peaceful. Its location near nature and the city was just perfect. The cozy cabin was clean and comfy. We loved Gambrill State Park and downtown Frederick didn't disappoint as well."

"Location, location, location! Convenient, clean, cozy, well-equipped, wonderful view from a very comfortable porch.Great hospitality by the owners - a nice welcome, juices, water, coffee, and delicious scones."

"The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools."

"Everything about the listing was amazing. The porch has breathtaking sunsets. Getting to the property was easy. Walk to the trails within a couple hundred feet of the cabin. Was not disappointed with anything inside the cabin. Super clean and big beds. "
