for you to enjoy the panoramic vistas. Just nine miles away, the Massanutten

Resort offers a plethora of activities including skiing, a water park,

ziplining, and mountain biking. Explore further afield with a visit to the

famous Luray Caverns located 14 miles away, or venture into the Shenandoah

National Park, a mere 15 miles from your doorstep.



'Riverside Serenity' is more than just a place to stay--it's a gateway to the

wonders of the Shenandoah region, promising a relaxing retreat enveloped in

This house is so lovely and cozy and the location is unbeatable. Right on the river. We so enjoyed just hanging out and being comfortable and sitting in the hot tub, and looking out at the gorgeous front yard in the morning. Jason is so responsive—he responded immediately to our question. It took the property manager a few hours to respond (to a different question), so we were so appreciative that Jason was so accommodating. He is also a very kind person. Just a note that the train runs right behind the property—like 50 feet or so. It’s not distracting or a problem at all, just know that it’s there and when it starts back up, it can be a little jarring. (It’s not a frequent occurrence at all, and lasts about two seconds.). Absolutely recommend.

Beautiful home and location!

The home provided all our needs. Very clean and comfy. Beds were great. Though we did not cook it was well stocked. The location was private and yet close enough to everything. A view of both mountains and river!

This home was perfect for our getaway; close to hiking, fishing, and biking. The hot tub was great after the long hikes. The railroad noise and the viaducts around town were reminiscent of our old hometown.

Nice and quick getaway.

Enjoyed the time with family. House was clean and well equipped. Only thing I would do to improve the experience would be to add a second bathroom. A half or full bathroom downstairs would be perfect with four people in the house. Great weather and the kids enjoyed themselves.

Perfect Getaway Spot

Honestly, the listing doesn't do this property justice. It is an amazing location with beautiful views and total privacy without isolation from convenience. We had one of our most favorite vacation weeks ever staying here.

Birthday stay with our Goldendoodle

My wife rented this awesome house to celebrate my birthday! We loved our stay and hopefully we will be back. The house was perfect for the two of us and our dog. We love the hut tub, the fire pit, the huge front yard was perfect for our dog, and fishing at the river made our afternoons perfect! The location is convinient to restaurants, water sports, parks, wineries, breweries, distilleries and to outfitters. We tubed the Shenandoah River and my wife fell in love with the area. The house was exceptionally clean and the hosts provided water, snacks and toiletries. Easy in and out, our dog is smitten with the HUGE front yard!

Old Fishing Buddies

Thanks to our Hosts Jason and Dawn, for a great place to stay. We appreciated the welcome snacks and the pre check-in call. The house was clean and comfortable with an outstanding view of the sunset. Your location was very convenient for our kayak fishing floats and equal distance from our respective homes. We covered 15 miles of the river and caught over 200 fish. Thanks for having us and we hope visit again.
