"This is my second year to stay at Comfort Cove for the annual "Gimme Shelter" (GS) kayak fishing tournament and community event. I came back because my experience last year was so positive. Last year I was here solo, this year my wife came along. It's close to the activities near the campground meeting pavilion and boat launch. My wife says she loves that king size bed. "Perfect location: close to places to eat, community center, trailhead and the cove. We drove to Black Sands trailhead and dropped off three family member who hiked the Lost Coast Trail. We got to join the locals for bingo night at the community center and I took three yoga classes there too! We brought our golf clubs and golf balls and practiced putting on the golf course right across the street from the house. "We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. The view from the rear deck is wonderful. Our only disappointment was that the outdoor couch featured in the photos was not usable since cushions were nowhere to be found. And the deck chairs are pretty rickety. The grill could use some attention. Overall, a great place. "

"We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!"

"Awesome place. Walking distance from black sands beach. Short drive to all amenities. Stocked with everything you need in a place. Easy to find and check in and out was a breeze. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. "

"This was a our second time staying at this property and it did not disappoint! The house is beautiful and furnished with high end furniture and appliances (rare for a rental)! We spent entire days just staying at the property and enjoying the view, hot tub, wild life etc. The fireplace was perfect for the cool nights and the new back deck was our favorite place for stargazing and listening to the waves crashing in the back yard!
