Beautiful home!We loved it there. The listing was accurate, very private location with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was spotless, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking for our group. We would stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us for the week!

This is a wonderful place! Peaceful, comfortable, clean and lovely! Plenty of room to spread out for alone time and the main room was big enough to accommodate us all for meals and games.The outside areas are beautiful and well maintained.

Amazing Getaway!

We had a fantastic time. The place itself is beautiful and very well kept up and maintained, including the fire pit area which was perfect during our stay. But the star of the show is the water and the lot. It's secluded and peaceful, yet it's super easy access to the main water and several marinas. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to relax and get away.

Beautiful Lake Front Property!

We loved staying here. The home was big enough for our party of 12 ranging from ages 7 to age 85. The property was serene, the kids loved the kayaks, and my parents loved eating out on the porch watching the water. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Sibling trip 2025

Amazing property with all the amenities needed readily available. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our stay worry free, we never had to leave to get anything. Perfect set up for the 8 in our group (youngest was 50, oldest is 70). Will book again in the future.

It was perfect!!!! My husband and I decided to take our kids and grandkids on a little trip. It was 8 adults and 3 kids. Perfect amount of space. We brought our pontoon that fit perfect under the boat dock. You can see the boat landing from the deck. So nice and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and hope to go back again!

Family Get Away

We had 9 people staying at the house. There was plenty of room, the accommodations were fantastic, property was super clean, and the amenities were as stated in the listing. It was really nice being able to enter at the main floor as well as at the basement level. There were plenty of rooms to split up among the different groups in the family. Thank you so much!

4th of July

We booked this property for our family for the 4th of July. Everything was fantastic. We had our boat with us so the docks, the marina and the boat ramp being so close was perfect. The owners were great, couldn’t have gone smoother. We will definitely be back.

A little piece of heaven!

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet!! Everything you could want in a vacation rental. The view is wonderful! Beautiful fall colors! The woods come alive at night with wildlife! Deer, raccoons, chipmunks, beavers. Just a lovely home, inside and out! Host was very easy to communicate with and checked with us during the week. We loved our stay!

A beautiful retreat!

This property is amazing!! Gorgeous views of the lake, luxury furnishings and plenty of room for everyone. My family was in town for a funeral and wanted to spend time together instead of dealing with separate hotel rooms. “Solitude” gave us all of that. I couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience!

Family Lay Lake Vacay

We had not all been together for almost 6 yrs and Solitude on Lay Lake was the ideal place for us to spend time together, share and make memories. The home both indoor and outdoor was set up with many places to hang out, float in lake, go boating, play corn hole or play pool or just lounge on porch swings or at fire pit - we had a great time - Thank you, Solitude!

Family Friendly

This property did not disappoint and was just as described in the listing! We had ages 9 to 82 on the trip and everyone enjoyed all the place had to offer! We kayaked, fished, peddle boated, and hung out on the many piers the place had to offer. Recommend for sure! Property owner was very responsive to communication and is always a plus!

Family get together

What an amazing vacation had by all! Dawn was exceptional with communication. Enough space for all us. Awesome kitchen to prep and cook in. The decks and piers were wonderful to enjoy the awesome weather! Dock was perfect for the boat and we can't say enough about that lake!!!! Will we be back??? DEFINITELY YES!!!!!
