Easy access to local sights yet quiet enough to enjoy nature and the beautiful sound of a loon on the lake.We were lucky to find this place and have such an enjoyable stay. "My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3-night experience at this tiny house/cottage. It's a couple minute drive from a small quiet beach on the Ottawa River and there are many good places to hike in the area. And to have fresh eggs from their chickens was great! "

"We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! The hosts and neighbours were welcoming and kind. Would happily return if we are in the area again. Definitely quiet and peaceful pace of life where you can relax. Gas BBQ was easy to use. "This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna."

"Absolutely gorgeous house and property with so much attention to details that really make the stay extra special! We had a great time and would love to return. Location is super convenient to the Burnstown beach and not far to calabogie. Super private with trees all around and stunning views from the upper level. Beds were amazingly comfortable, with lots of pillows and towels provided. Ping-pong table in the basement too!"

"Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. "On arrival, you are wow'd with visual beauty, the inner cottage kitchen and lvg room. Then the outside view hits you. So amazing. We adored the showers, water pressure and hot.
