"I went for the F1 Event. Hotel is 3 stations (stops) always for Shanghai Circuit and approx a 10 min walk from Anting Station.
There is heaps of food options and shops nearby (at Anting Stn).

"This Holiday Inn actually adjoins the Hualuxe Hotel (both properties are owned by the IHG group). When you arrive, you check in at the Hualuxe reception area. A buffet breakfast is served on Level 1 of the Hualuxe property; guests also have access to the swimming pool on Level 3 of the Hualuxe Hotel. The properties are located in a fairly quiet, leafy area, and it's only a 12-minute walk to the Guangming Road metro station, from where you can get to the centre of Shanghai in just over an hour....

Only negative if I'm being harsh was hotel is quite far from city (1hr+) but the primary purpose of my trip was business not leisure so not too much of an issue as it was easily accessible to conference centre. "Personal at the hotel does not talk English so it's difficult to communicate. The air conditioner of the room didnt cool the room enough, it didnt go below the 21°C so on hot days it's not conveniente.
Other than that room is clean and nicely located, my stay was pretty good.

"Thermostats didn’t work. Room temperature reached to 28C. Front desk suggest to provide a fan - I was shocked to hear that. Upon refusing the fan option, changed my room. New room - window wouldn’t close so you can count how many cars passed by. In the morning AC automatically changed to heater and I woke up due to hot room. Old and hard to operate thermostat. Room size although they call it king size bad room was terrible. No sitting spot to sit and put your shoes on. Breakfast is below...

"Hotel is located right inside a beautiful park. Breakfast is awesome and offers a lot of choices, hotel staff is super friendly and helpful.
Only the gym could offer a little more exercise options, its basically 2 treadmills and 3 different weights.
Only con in my opinion:
It is difficult to get a taxi. Especially as a foreigner without access to AliPay or DiDi (Chinese Uber). Hotel staff will order you a taxi but it takes a while."

" My wife got sick the first night of our stay in the hotel. I asked a doctor to the front desk person. He told me that the hotel did not have that service, and even worse, he did not have the name and telephone of a doctor. However, he suggested that I take her to a hospital. He gave me name and address but did not mention that there is a special and private section of the Huashan Hospital for international patients. The public section for local people was crowded, with no English-spoken people, and slow attention would not be appropriate. It was necessary to hospitalize her in the international unit. The medical and hospital attention was very convenient. A HILTON hotel must always have convenient medical information to support guests in critical hours like this."
