"Disappointed with the place as it wasn't clean! Floor & windows weren't clean & ceiling had spider webs especially in corners, garden needs a good weed, thistles everywhere! Fence was falling over at back. The only good thing was bed was comfortable & shower worked well & train was novelty going ..."

"We loved our stay! Very clean and lovely views. Kids loved walking to the little park, enjoyed the river mouth area and walked the other direction to the sandy beach. Great takeaways from the spot right in kakanui on our second night. Lovely to be able to bring our dog, he was cozy in his crate and ..."
