"We enjoyed time with our extended family over the Labor Day holiday.The lodge was large enough to accomadate all of us, numbering 20, comfortably.The fire pit was great for us and the neighborhood was quiet, the woods around the house secluded.The host, John, was very helpful and available. "The cabin was a perfect escape after a stressful summer take away in the mountains. It looked brand new, so fresh, clean and beautifully done. The pictures do not do it justice. "The cabin was great - very peaceful, clean, dog-friendly, and conveniently located. It's up a mountain road and set back in the woods a bit, which made it quiet. The driveway was slightly steep but our AWD SUV didn't have any problems with it.
