2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 5 to 6

Also known as Captain's Quarters. Conveniently located halfway between the Seward small boat harbor and Seward´s historic downtown. Both are within a short walking distance along a coastal trail that is just one block from the front door. The trail is part of the original Iditarod Trail. Very clean and private with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, wifi, DirectTV/DVD, Washer and Dryer and a BBQ. this unit also has a futon style couch that folds flat and could sleep one to two more people. Bringing the total to 6 people. Adjacent to our other vacation rental unit (VRBO Listing #738304). This is great for someone who is wanting to have a rental for 8 to 10 people, as the two units are side by side. Owned and operated by a 4´th generation Seward, Alaskan.

Great location in central Seward. If you are traveling with campers this place is great! Just a block from the RV park and close to the playground. Spacious for a family of 3. All the amenities you need for a weekend away.

Quaint little spot - as advertised. Not much space for a family of four but worked great for our brief visit in Seward. Bed wasn’t too comfortable; otherwise, no complaints. Very nice experience.

My overall impression is good. However, the first night we were concerned with the Neighbor dogs barking off & on until 1030 at night. After that, it was quiet. Also, one of the bedroom doors wouldn’t shut. But overall, we were very happy with everything else. The location was great for us. Thanks for being so speedy with bringing us more coffee. It was much appreciated.

The place is in a convenient location and easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and the water. It was clean and had what we needed for overnight stay, but the furniture and decor were dated. Also, we didn’t get the address or check-in info until I reached out a couple hours before arrival, and there weren’t any checkout instructions provided. The host replied quickly when I messaged, but it would’ve been nice to have those details ahead of time.

Cute, cozy, clean, and comfortable!

We found this unit to be so cute and cozy. Beds are comfortable, and provided us a good nights rest. Location is perfect, quiet neighborhood and short walk to beach. Fit four of us perfectly.

Nice rental

We enjoyed several days here in Seward. The propoerty had enough beds for the entire family and we hung out in the living room at night relaxing and watching TV. Super conveniently located, just a quick walk to restaurants downtown, to the ocean, and in the opposite direction, to the marina where we took a boat tour and saw some amazing wildlife.

Relaxed, comfy stay in Seward!

I spent two nights here on a work trip. It was very clean, well-maintained, a block from Waterfront Park, and close to everything else. All the appliances worked well, it was stocked with coffee and tea, and the bed and couches were comfy!

Fantastic! Would stay again. Very clean, organized, had a washer and dryer. Very cozy, beds were AMAZING! Very comfortable, more than enough space. Parking was great, easy. Located in the middle of seward, perfect distance to all activities

1 block from the bay

Good: Communication with the property manager was great. He even allowed us to add one extra person to the reservation after we booked. He was amazing by allowing us to check in as soon as we got off the train which was so incredibly helpful. We received the code at an appropriate time before check in. It is 1 block from the bay and approximately 2 blocks from the cities free shuttle. People in the neighborhood seemed very nice and even offered us a ride when they saw us pulling our luggage. Bad: It was pouring down rain and we had to trek our luggage 2 blocks from the free shuttle, up hill. 3 of us are younger and it wasn't such and issue, but we had our mothers with us so that made things more challenging. The trailer was a bit run down but to be honest we were in a small Alaskan town so its different than a big city. The cleaning left a bit to be desired. There was a huge cobweb in the main bedroom, a dirty hand towel on the bathroom sink that I'm assuming the cleaning crew just forgot and the front bedroom and bathroom windows were left wide open so one of the beds had a huge wet spot from the rain pouring in. The neighbors wake early and are very chatty so since we shared a wall, we too were up early.
