Start with the positives. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Location is excellent. However…
This isn’t a 5* hotel at all, more like a 3* hotel.
Rooms are dark, and - because of the excellent location near the cathedral - it is noisy, well into the night. The lift doesn’t always work. Not enough toilet roll or towels. Rooftop bar is difficult to access. Spa access is impossible - what the small print doesn’t say is that there’s no indoor pool and spa access must be pre booked and only one room can use it at a time. For our whole stay of one week we couldn’t access the spa as it was ‘fully booked’. The rooftop pool is small and not well maintained (as with other parts of the hotel)
Public bathrooms are not too clean.
The photos on the website are very well edited!
Wouldn’t recommend a stay here, save money and stay elsewhere as it is a very walkable city so cathedral area is easily accessible.
