Greenbrier Retreat - Big Yard, Hot Tub + Firepit!

A fun and relaxing getaway in the Great Smoky Mountains, Greenbrier Retreat boasts the conveniences of home, peaceful spaces, and plenty of entertainment. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin can sleep up to 8 guests, so it has enough space for a family or some friends. Enjoy coffee on the deck as the sun comes up before whipping up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen – where you'll have pots and pans, cooking tools, dishes, and appliances.

There is a gas grill for barbecues, and there is a hot tub for soothing soaks at night. There is also a firepit area with a grotto cave where you can hang out. Inside, get cozy in front of the big screen TV and pop a movie in the Blu-ray player. There are TVs in the bedrooms, and the cabin also has high speed internet, a Pac-Man arcade game, a washer/dryer, and a flat, gravel driveway with room to park a trailer.

Greenbrier Retreat keeps you close to the fun as well, with just a 1-minute drive to the Greenbrier entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Find hiking trails, picnicking, swimming access, whitewater rafting, ziplines, and more nearby, and easily avoid Sevierville and Pigeon Forge traffic to the cabin by taking I40 to US231.

Basic, comfortable, most amenities don't work

Overall, this cabin was comfortable and clean. However the grill did not work, which we found out after purchasing propane. It also hasn't been cleaned in ages and was a fire hazard. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and a used bar of soap in one shower. One TV did not work. Indoor fire places didn't work. Jets on the hot tub were weak on highest setting and small parts like knobs and headrests were missing. Solar lights on deck don't work. There was trash we had to pick up around the yard because it wasn't clean. There were limited dishes for cooking, and make sure you bring ANYTHING you will need because unlike other places there wasn't even salt and pepper in the kitchen. They don't care if you call because they are corporately owned and you just get a call center. Also, the pictures on the listing are NOT the actual cabin itself. Very disappointing!!

Great for what we needed

Perfect number of rooms and the kitchen and living room were perfect. The biggest reason we chose this rental is because I have 2 big dogs and 1 small dog. The reason for the rating is because some maintenance is needed: there were a ton of ants living on the deck wood, we expected to be able to sit on the outside couch but is was really dirty, the closet door for the washer dryer area had one broken side and the cleaner must have set it on there so it looked nice but when I went to open it fell right out of the track and almost hit me, and the beds were super hard (2 of us contemplated sleeping on the couch).

Lovely stay!

This property was really nice! Perfect for my family of 7. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were pretty comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We even brought our dogs which was great! Our only slight issues were the grill wouldn’t start even though we had propane, some lights in the kitchen wouldn’t turn on and the outdoor furniture was not cleaned so we really couldn’t use it. Even with these issues we would still stay at this rental again! It was a great location and was perfect for our weekend!

This mini vacation was awesome, our rental was absolutely the best place we have stayed yet, it had plenty of room, our family wants to thank Greenbriar for being honesty and have the unit cleaned and ready.

Very clean, well supplied, easy check in. Pets welcomed - hot tub. Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Had the porch light on waiting for us with a Christmas tree lit up. Enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

Very clean, spacious and comfortable! Everything was very up to date and the kitchen was stocked with appliances. The best part that isn’t even shown in the pictures was the fire pit and the cave out of the side of the mountain! Very cool and the kids loved it. The hot tub was very nice and clean as well. We absolutely loved staying here. The only down side for us was there wasn’t any fans in the bedrooms haha. It’s very quite at night so if you can’t sleep somewhere quite bring a fan. All the bedrooms have smart tvs which was nice too. It’s next to a busier road so you’ll hear that in the morning mostly but it’s not super bad at all. We will definitely stay again if we have the chance!

Wedding Stay

Property had everything we needed. Only things missing were a broom to sweep up leaves that are dragged into the house and a leaf blower to clean off the deck. There was so much tree droppings (leaves, twigs, acorns) on it, it was pretty much only useful to use the hot tub. Renters don't mind cleaning up, but need the tools.

Nice interior

Interior was nice. The internals of the house were good. These signs saying that you could overload the well and run out of water were concerning. I wish we had known this aspect that it might have a weak well ahead of time. It was very close to a busy road. This was noisy at night.

Great Location

Loved our stay. Modern and felt like home. Grocery store close by. No mountains roads to navigate. Hot tub was perfect. Perfect location for Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. Kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. Property owner was very responsive and helpful.
