Based on the choice of our owners, dogs are allowed in "pet-friendly" cabins only, no cats or any other animal. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee for each pet. There is a maximum of 2 pets per pet-friendly cabin. Pet size is limited to 50lbs per pet. All pets must be leashed at all times or kenneled when left alone in the cabin. Pet owners are responsible for the cleaning up of any pet refuse. Pet fee does not cover additional cleaning that cabin may need after check-out; the guest is responsible for any extra cleaning charges. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations as well as flea and tick preventative medications. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. If a pet is found in any of our units that do not allow pets a fee of $250 will be charged to the guest, your reservation may be cancelled, and your party may be evicted without refund.

The cabin was very nice and we enjoyed the stay. When we got there the place was 48 degrees and downstairs was frigid. Luckily we brought a heater. I would stay here again in the summer but not the winter. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities because of the cold but they looked nice! Other than that we enjoyed our time just relaxing.

The hot tub never did work even after they came and worked on it and said it was fixed. He said it will take about 4hrs to heat up and the thing would only run about an hour shut off still ice cold. To keep the people in the game room from freezing, everybody on the other floors are suffocating. The people in the loft would get woke up anytime someone would go to the bathroom because the bathroom light and the light over the sink which was out in the loft worked off the same switch. The oven door didn't close all the way, so anything you try to bake didn't. The stove burner just kept getting hotter and hotter no matter what you had it set on. The dishwasher quit working. I have stayed in many cabins over the years and this was the worst I've ever stayed in. So much that we left yesterday a full day early

Beautiful cabin located in a quiet and scenic location. We loved all the porch space and the fire pit set up. The hot tub was great too, but we learned that it takes 24 hours to heat up (we thought it was not working since that was not mentioned anywhere). The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable except for the 3 twin beds in the basement which are a little on firmer side. If all 3 bathrooms were being used at the same time, the hot water ran out fast. Also, the light in the bedroom balcony and bathroom was connected so you could not turn on one without turning on the other which was not ideal. Despite those few things, we would definitely stay there again.

Dance Nationals Vacation at Blue Hawlk Hideaway

Summit Cabin Rentals was great to work with. They answered all of my questions when I asked them in a timely manner. They even reached out to see if it was alright if an appliance technician came to fix the ice machine in the refrigerator and we said no problem. The cabin was well taken care of. The railing on the back deck was a little shaky but it was so hot we did not spend a lot of time outside at the cabin. We would definitely stay here again!!

Blue Hawke Cabin

1st night there the hot tub wouldn't heat. Call the nxt morning & they fixed it that day. However it took overnight to heat up to an acceptable temp, so we only used it on the nite before checking out. Cabin was clean & adequately supplied. Shower stalls lacked shelves to place your soap/ shampoo. Also, the 3 beds off game room were apparently meant only for children. Our group were all adults. So 1/3 of our groups didn't sleep very well. Other thsn that it was ok.

Lovely Cabin. Excellent Property Management

Cabin was lovely and as described. Perfect for our trip as everyone had their own space for privacy but a good shared kitchen and living area. Dishwasher bottom rack is missing. Property management said it is on order so used the top for glasses and washed pots etc.by hand. Not a big deal for our stay but if you plan to cook a lot.and don’t want dishes make sure this has been fixed. Hot tub was nice. Enclosed porch was lovely. Bonus. We saw a bear!

Great Family Experience

This was a great experience for us with a family of 3 kids with all the different amenities. Usually witihin 20 minutes if anything you want to do. It was a little dirty as other reviews state, mainly with ice maker appliance, dishwasher was dirty and missing the bottom rack, and dust collecting on tops of some areas but nothing that made they stay uncomfortable. Water had the egg smell which is common with some types of water. Customer support very responsive and addressed anything that was brought up. I would consider this cabin again if i visit the area again. Thanks Summit Cabin rentals! Definitely took advantage of the ticket package that comes with the rental.

Very Nice Cabin

Only had a few minor issues not worth reporting as we didn't stay much at the cabin other than sleeping: couldn't get the master bedroom tv to work; hot tub was cold but assuming that is because they fill it with fresh water for each stay so it would have had to be on for a while to heat up and 1st night was only time we weren't too busy or tired to try it; the blue couch has some stains. Other than that we loved the cabin, spacious enough for our group of 8. kids and adults loved the game room. 3 full bathrooms was great to have. all the large beds were comfortable, kids said their "triple bunk bed" wasn't that comfortable but they slept fine on it. we didn't cook so can't speak for pots/pans but found enough glasses, plates and silverware. ice maker was nice to have. took advantage of some free tickets which was great!!!
