Peters cottage is perfectly located on the headland of the historical town called 1770 (Seventeen Seventy) . One of the areas most affordable cottages offering spectacular ocean views.
A comfortable two bedroom, one bathroom self-contained cottage provides all the comforts for a small family holiday, couples getaway or the perfect place to share with a few friends.

Features include 'vast' satellite Tv system and Nbn satellite system with WiFi.
Offering comfortable open plan living, an inviting entertaining deck perfect for alfresco dining or simply relaxing whilst gazing upon the incredible ocean vista over 1770 headland. A perfect place to stay and spot passing whales in season, dolphins at play or with exploring the area in mind with many walking tracks close by.
Peters Cottage location, on the headland, is within easy access to all 1770 facilities including 1770 foreshore only 500m away perfect for swimming , fishing, water sports and family fun. 1770 boat ramp and marina is only 1 km drive where you can partake in a Great Barrier Reef day tour.

Peters Cottage Beach House

My husband and I were very comfortable staying at Peter's cottage. We loved the view and cool ocean breezes. It was clean, tidy and very homely. The location was great, close to the lookout and we walked through the national park to 1770. We would definitely stay there again.

Very Peaceful

Loved our stay so much we booked another night so eight nights in total. Beautiful view and very quiet street. Cottage was comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to 1770 headland lookout where there are stunning views of the ocean, river and sunsets. Selection of books and dvds supplied. TV reception a bit hit and miss (hence the dvds) and no internet or phone service in the cottage. Managed to pick up phone service on various parts of the street ... varied, but when you stay somewhere like 1770 its nice to totally cut off from the world. Grabbed some fish and chips at the marina and enjoyed them at the well kept park on the river watching the sunset. Had a lovely relaxing stay.

Comfortable, basic and clean

Pleasantly surprised with comfort and cleanliness in this basic fisherman’s beach house. Walking distance to the headland. Very quiet and peaceful. We had some rainy weather and were still happy indoors with a few DVD’s provided too! Thanks very much

Good time was had

The place was pleasant, great for youngish family, nice view n a quiet retreat. What they don’t say...... No phone reception from property, Fish cleaning station, good if you only catch 3 whiting.... No outside tap or hose for fish cleaning station or to hose off your boat.... These little but should be told things didn’t stop us from still having a good stay.....
