  • Una cabaña en terrazas del siglo XIX adyacente a un estanque de molinos a solo 1 milla de la ciudad comercial de Settle, hogar del famoso ferrocarril Settle to Carlisle. Planta baja:
    Salón / comedor: con estufa de leña, TV con canales Freeview y reproductor de DVD.
    Cocina: con cocina eléctrica, microondas, nevera, congelador y lavadora / secadora.
    Cuarto de baño con ducha en el baño y aseo.. Primer piso:
    Dormitorio 1: Con cama matrimonial.
    Dormitorio 2: Con litera. Calefacción central de gas, electricidad, ropa de cama, toallas, Wi-Fi y registros para estufa de leña incluidos. Perros extras .. Patio trasero cerrado con banco de jardín y barbacoa. Parking privado para 1 coche. No Fumar. Nota: hay un estanque de molino cercado, adyacente al patio. Ubicada en el Parque Nacional de Yorkshire Dales, esta antigua casa de campo para trabajadores del molino se encuentra en una ubicación idílica y tranquila al final de un camino rural ubicado entre el río por un lado y un encantador estanque de molinos por el otro. Una de las 12 casas adosadas que dan a una calle adoquinada construida en 1783 para alojar a los trabajadores de la fábrica de algodón, ahora restaurada con mucho cariño para combinar una gran cantidad de elementos con piedra y vigas a la vista junto con las comodidades de la vida contemporánea. Es un lugar ideal para caminar o ir en bicicleta directamente desde la puerta a través de algunos de los paisajes más pintorescos de Yorkshire. Conquista uno o los tres de los "Tres picos"; Ingleborough, Whernside y Penyghent, o pasear en bicicleta por Kingdale, una zona pacífica y rara vez visitada, con calles tranquilas y granjas aisladas. Alternativamente, tanto Yorkshire Dales como el Distrito de los Lagos son fácilmente accesibles en coche. La bulliciosa ciudad comercial de Settle está bien servida con una variedad de bares y restaurantes y está a solo 1,6 km. Aquí también encontrará una piscina, campo de golf y mercado semanal. Tienda, pub y restaurante 1 milla.

Excellent few days in this lovely olde world little cottage.

Excellent few days in this lovely olde world little cottage. All modern heating, lighting, smart tv, bathroom with excellent shower, kitchen with microwave etc but in a quaint setting. River Ribble a with its many ducks only a couple of yards from back yard with outdoor seating.walking distance from Settle and many lovely walks both short and long from the door. Add to the aforesaid a very comfy double bed I recommend this little haven.

A lovely little cottage ideally situated for lots of walks and only a short drive for all sight seeing trips like Ribblehead Viaduct and Malham Cove and near enough to Settle for shopping but far enough away for some peace from town noise. Clean and cosy, well equipped with a lovely log burner and plenty of room for our large dog. Easy to find with precise directions. Highly recommend.

Character cottage in fantastic location. Very relaxing. Not far from facilities in Settle but peaceful day & night. Lots of period features but might be cramped a bit with 4 adults. Dog friendly cottage, location & Dales generally. Overlooks picturesque mill-pond, a classic English view.

The cottage is in an out of the way location, but the amenities in Settle are just over a mile away.

The cottage is in an out of the way location, but the amenities in Settle are just over a mile away. It is warm and welcoming, with central heating and a log fire. The setting is picturesque and very good as a base for walking, with the Settle to Carlisle railway in the immediate vicinity. A good choice for the getting away from the rat race traveller. Is also dog friendly.

A welcoming cottage in a wonderful location.

A welcoming cottage in a wonderful location. If you are looking for a cosy rural retreat in beautiful countryside, this is the place for you. The cottage is small but well equipped, but, downstairs bathroom may not suit everyone. Lovely to sit on the patio and look over the mill pond. Plenty of nice walks from the front door or a short car journey away. Great for walkers and nature lovers. The visitors book demonstrates that other people enjoyed their stay as much as we did.

Super cottage, lovely quiet location. Great walks right from the door. Settle is nearby for shops, cafés etc. Cottage is cosy and very well equipped. We hope to be back soon.

Pleasant cottage, a little off the beaten track but still within a steady walk of Settle.

Pleasant cottage, a little off the beaten track but still within a steady walk of Settle. Parking adequate, anything larger than a medium family hatchback (eg Focus) would be a tight fit. Cottage not suitable for people with allergies to dogs. Also has a steep staircase and downstairs bathroom.

Lovely cottage that was in a very quiet location with plenty of beautiful walks nearby. The cottage itself had everything required and the bed was extremely comfortable. One slight downside was that the outside space was very small especially for a medium /large dog. Would definitely stay at the cottage again if on a human only holiday again.
