  • This one bedroom apartment 32sq m is for rent on a daily basis. Only 4,7 km to Reykjavik center. Pick up included at the city bus terminal upon arrival. Pickup at airport if requested, nominal fee.
    The check out time is 12:00 a' clock. The check in time is between 14:00-16:00 but later if you wish.

    The 32sq meter apartment has 1 bedroom and a fold out couch in the living room, fully functional kitchen with kitchen supplies and a bathroom with a shower. Wireless internet. minimum stay is 3 days
    The house was built in 2007. We can advise where you can rent a cheap car

Fantastic location with Northern Lights Visibility

This was the best place to stay near the main city. It served as a great base to explore all of Iceland.

This studio apartment was perfect for me and the hosts were SO attentive and patient with my schedule that bounced around a bit starting with a flight that got in three hours late. They waited up for me - showed me around, oriented me to some special shows and comic that featured Iceland then let me check out late a bit late. I had noticed a bike in one of the pictures of the place when looking to book and they got the bike in working order and then let me use it (with helmet and lock) so that I could bike into town (very easy bike ride, longish but very pleasant walk (most along the bay) and/or drive, or bus ride). I didn't find parking in Reykjavik as horrible as some reviews suggested. This studio apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and I would highly recommend it to others! Great for solo travelers, couples, or even with a small kid/s or baby.

Central location for exploring SW Iceland

Siggi and his wife were the most friendly and caring hosts. Checked on us multiple time to ensure our stay was perfect. The view from the apartment is everything, we were able to see the northern lights twice without even leaving the apartment. This apartment was clean and cozy— had all the essentials. The bus is right across the street if you aren’t driving and the northern lights viewing spot is walkable from the apartment. Absolutely recommend. Thank you again Siggi

We stayed for about a week and the place was perfect. Great location and it was a complete apartment with stove, frig and microwave. Siggi and Nanna treated us like family. We will come back here again!

Nice wee apartment with everything I needed in a beautiful area. So quiet with lovely coastal walks. Bus service exceptional. Siggi, my host, was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be back for my birthday later in the year.

Great place for couples

Clean, quiet, cozy place just outside of Reykjavik. All necessary appliances and cookware are available. Beautiful views of mountains and the ocean,thermal footbath,great restaurant, bakery and ice cream shop all within walking distance. Siggi and Nanna were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This is it, if your objective is to enjoy the Aurora borealis. Our host Siggi and Nana were an excellent. The coastline nearby with nesting birds, sunsets and rocks were incredible. Close to everything touristy also. We 💕 it. Thank you Siggi and Nana.

September in Reykjavik

The studio apartment was a perfect home away from home. There was plenty of space and we found the bed very comfortable. We found an excellent place to eat fairly close to the city center. The apartment is a perfect location to launch your day to the Golden Circle, a day in the city, or any number of day trips and hikes. Siggi and Nanna are friendly and accommodating.

Quiet, clean, comfortable apartment

An upstairs apartment in a quiet location. Very clean. Friendly hosts. Great shower. It's in a residential area, but there's a business building in front of it and we drove past it the first time. Lighthouse and area to view the Northern Lights are close by.

Northern lights

Siggi and Nanna were great hosts. Northern lights can be seen easily about 1km from their house. House is set back from street and there is another house (it may be a business) on the same driveway. Home is about 6 km from downtown Reyk (very convenient if you have a car . Many sights, activities and restaurants in the area Highly recommended location to call your base camp

Great location close to grotto lighthouse - 20 min bus ride to Reykavik

Lovely little studio apartment. Very warm. Has all that you need for self catering. Value for money. Close to swimming pool with hot tubs, steam room and plunge pools (hot tub not in apartments which is what I’d thought initially). 2 minute walk from bus stop - reaching Reykjavík in 20 mins. Siggi and Nanna are great hosts and very accommodating. There to offer advice or answer any questions. Recommend.

A lovely stay!

Siggi and Nanna's space was perfect for our first trip to Iceland. Or was warm, inviting, and it had everyone we needed to enjoy our trip. The kitchenette was stocked with all the tools we needed, the bed was super comfortable, and the seating area was perfect for chats and looking at the water and the Northern lights out the window. There was parking right outside, and the unit is centrally located to Reykjavik without being in the hustle and bustle of it. Siggi was super communicative and hospitable despite having been on holiday outside the country himself. We can't wait to return and we hope we can return to this space again. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Cozy temporary home base for our Iceland adventures

We liked it here a lot. The Apartment is close to the sea in a quiet neighbourhood yet you can get easily to central Reykjavik with car or bus (or take a long walk by the sea). There is all neccessairy equipment in Kitchen and bathroom and you can wash and dry clothes in a room in the basement. Everything in the apartment was really clean. The host is really friendly and helpful e.g. with food recommendations or questions about road conditions. We got a message or a knock at the door when there were nothern lights 😀.
