"This was a great hotel. We got the penthouse suite which had it's own huge balcony and hot tub. The room itself was small but cozy. The bed was comfortable. Good linens and towels. The wifi was a little spotty but no complaints besides that. Make sure you get breakfast. It was incredible. Good staff."

"The Alex was charming, clean and centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant/bar. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderfully accommodating and polite. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers going to Piraeus."

"The hotel presented well, and staff were efficient and friendly. We arrived close to 10 pm and there were no restaurant or bar facilities open in the hotel, and so we had to seek food and drink outside. The room was good and offered all necessary amenities."

"The hotel had very comfortable beds, good showers, the best air conditioning - but the floor my friend was allocated a room on had the loudest rudest Greeks staying, who carried until 2am, so with a 5am alarm for ferry, he got no sleep.
Nothing was done to ask them keep their noise down
Guess the hotel did not think anything would stop them
So we won't be staying here again"

"Got to the hotel really early and was able to check in early for a fee. The room iteself was clean, the air conditioning worked excellent. The only thing I found not up to standards is the size of the shower. EXTREMELY SMALL with about a 5 inch lip and the base is approx 2' x 2' surrounded by a curtain next to the toilet. Very tight and no space for anything let alone your shower toiletries on the back of the toilet! :(

"An absolute gem of a hotel. The rooms are extra large with floor to ceiling windows, beautiful architecturally designed spaces, a very comfortable bed with premier linen. The staff are warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ensure a special stay. We have stayed in many places in Athens but this hotel is definitely at the top of our list.
