Sedona Spirit in the Heart of Uptown

Newly remodeled cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite in a lower level walkout without access to owner living space. Dedicated parking space, fully appointed patio with gas grille and wood burning firepit. 1.5 blocks, a five-minute walk, to Uptown shops and restaurants.

No pets / No children
No smoking or vaping inside - No smoking outside on the premises

Coffee machine with amenities.
NO kitchen but there is a cabinet with a 4.5 cu ft refrigerator, and microwave. Outside gas grill. Cooking utensils for the outdoor grill are provided also a pot and pan for the side burner as well as paper plates and plastic utensils

Private patio, table, umbrella, and seating.

Firepit with wood provided for each night of stay

Keyless code entrance lock for check-in

This is a lower-level walkout to a private patio and your parking space. The owners have no living space on this level and there is no interior connection to the owner's residence. This is phase one with a separate dedicated living room to be added. Please note that the yard is not yet fenced in and there is a lot of landscaping still to be completed with mounds of dirt. The patio, grill, seating, and firepit are all fully functional. No work in landscaping, etc. of any kind that could possibly disturb any guest will be performed during anyone's visit.

  • Sedona has some of the best hiking and views you can find in all of the Southwest USA. But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! We had a great stay at Sedona spirit! Our third time in Sedona, it was a Great location centrally located and walkable to our favorite restaurant. Host was welcoming responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The patio is cute and the bed was super comfy after being out all day hiking. The room is small and quaint but it was just what we needed since we are out and about all day and a cozy place with a patio to relax is perfect for us. Would stay again!

This was the perfect location; most hiking trails are within a 15 minute drive (I would recommend downloading “All Trails”). Allowing their guests to utilize their Red Rock pass was extremely helpful. There is also an abundance of information in the white binder that they provide! There is a Whole Foods about 7-10 minutes down the way and that, paired with the outdoor grill, made it effortless to meal prep. Given the opportunity, I would book this listing again

Mini adventure

This was our second time staying at this place. Its a nice place to stay, not far from all the shops and restaurants. Traffic can be very busy so its nice to be able to walk down and not have to worry about parking. The place is perfect for two people, nice size bathroom, nice size closet space and very clean. The property owner does provide a Red Rock Pass so you can park at the trails free of charge unless its not returned you will be charged 25. We will definitely be back.

Great, quiet location in Uptown

Everything we needed, super comfy bed, slept so well! Sam and Linda are fantastic communicators and lovely people. Easy walking distance to all the shops, cafes, and restaurants. The beer bar was great too.

Loved our stay!

Directions to the property were crystal clear and communication with the owners was excellent. Everything felt very welcoming. The large, private patio area includes a grill, patio dining set, loveseat swing and fire pit. The shower is awesome! We did some hiking and used the complimentary trail parking pass. It’s the perfect place to stay for one or two people!

Fine for a night or two

Sedona Spirit is conveniently located near uptown, within walking distance of a brewpub and a couple of restaurants. The room is in an older house in an older residential neighborhood, with off-street parking. The 1-room layout is convenient, but the room is small, with no room for things like a dining table; we ate a few meals on the provided tray tables, with one of us sitting on the easy chair and the other on the desk chair. There is also very little space on which to place items in the bedroom and in the bathroom. There is a fridge and microwave, a Keurig (coffee was provided), a couple of coffee cups, and a couple of tumblers. There were no other kitchen items (e.g., plates, forks, bowls, etc.), so it is best not to plan to eat meals there. You need to be tall to reach and refill the reservoir on the Keurig. The room was quiet, with only minor noise from upstairs. The bed was comfortable, and temperature control in the bedroom was good (not in the bathroom, which was cold). The bathroom is compact, but the shower is large and well lit, and the towels were excellent. We experienced a couple of maintenance issues (a GFI breaker that tripped for unknown reasons and a (hourly) running toilet). Sedona Spirit was too small for our 1-week stay, and a typical motel room would have been better. The immediate neighborhood is not particularly nice, with next-door dogs that barked several times a day and several inoperable cars partially covered with tarps.

The property is perfect for a couple's getaway. The owners are extremely thoughtful for the property. There are binders, notes, and a free-to-use Red Rocks parking pass for hiking.

As I entered the property, I was delighted with the attention to detail. I also appreciated the amount of information included in the binders that were prepared for guests. Many niceties were available. The bed and room were clean and inviting. I highly recommend this VRBO.

This home is absolutely perfect! We parked our car and were able to easily walk to restaurants and shopping! The thoughtfulness that went into every detail of our stay was incredible. There was a keurig coffee maker, pods, cream and sugar, microwave, fridge, can opener, cork screw (what more could you ask for?) In the bathroom, there were plenty of towels and toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, blow dryer, etc. In the bedroom, there is an Alexa, TV, lots of games, large closet with hangers and dresser and the air conditioning was on upon our arrival. My favorite part was a little vanity that had a lighted mirror, sweet chair and plenty of room for makeup, curling iron, etc. The host greeted us upon arrival and let us know they were available for any of our needs. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Sedona and will recommend to all of our family and friends. So blessed to have found this home!
