  • Located in one of the quietest neighborhoods on the south side of Sedona. Just a 5 min drive to all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and grocery store in the Village of Oak Creek, along with hiking trails like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and more. This cozy cottage is a perfect retreat, complete with starlight, solitude, and direct trail access to the Coconino National Forest.

    The expansive private back yard invites peaceful enjoyment of nature with a red rock backdrop. At night, enjoy star gazing while grilling up a delicious dinner or cozied up next to the firepit. During the day, follow your inner compass out onto the forestry land and explore to your heart’s content.

    Inside the Cottage there is ample space for two. From the queen-sized master ensuite with an additional full bathroom adjacent, to the open plan kitchen and dining room that leads into a cozy living room with expansive glass double doors and floor to ceiling windows on both sides. In the morning, the front deck invites you to sit and catch the earliest rays of sun, and in the evening, enjoy the privacy of the back patio and watch the sunset glow on Lee Mountain just beyond the fence.

    Don’t miss the opportunity to curl up on the sofa under the weighted blanket and watch TV or gaze out at the red rocks from our meditation chair or the outdoor covered dining table. Another charming aspect of the Cottage is the skylight over the bed, perfect for stargazing as you fall asleep.

    The Cottage is close to the Village of Oak Creek (5 mins drive) and everything Sedona has to offer, or you can stay home and feel like you're in the middle of your own red rock paradise, which makes it a perfect escape.


    Please be advised we have one exterior security camera at the front of the property and there is one locked room inside the house that is not included in the rental. It is not mentioned above.

My entire visit was wonderful! The cottage is in a perfect spot. Private, quiet and most of all away from the large crowds. Perfect access to quite a few of the trailheads on the more Southern side of Sedona.

This was a lovely, quiet, relaxing home that was perfect to come back to after hiking, biking and sightseeing. We watched a coyote exploring while eating breakfast and javalinas foraging in the evenings. We loved eating out in the backyard and taking in the view. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the living room was spacious. Check in and check out were very easy and the owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our week in Sedona. It’s in a very quiet location while still being close to activities, groceries, restaurants, etc. The back yard is private and quiet for relaxing. We would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Chris is wonderful to work with and super helpful. We have stayed here twice and both times absolutely loved it! Works fantastic for a couple!!! Highly recommended!

We had such a lovely stay at Chris’s VRBO! The house was absolutely perfect — clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. The backyard was especially beautiful and such a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring.The location was ideal for adventuring around Sedona, with easy access to all the sights and hikes we wanted to experience. Chris was an amazing host, providing so many helpful tips and tricks for our trip. He was very attentive, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed.Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we hope to visit again soon!

Location, Location, Location… have stayed in a lot of rental properties, but this one is exactly as advertised. Backs up to park, just a view of range. A game trail runs right next to property in back. You can get up early and watch all the local wildlife walk by..

Book this house immediately! It is absolutely perfect, and the pictures do not do it justice. The moment you turn into the neighborhood, you are greeted by the majestic Lee Mountain right behind the property—it is much closer and grander than it appears in photos. Inside, the house was spotless and fully equipped. After long days of hiking, the crisp AC and comfortable bed were amazing, and the bedroom skylight made stargazing from bed an incredible bonus. The backyard was the absolute highlight of our stay. We spent our mornings drinking coffee while watching local birds and wildlife, and our nights relaxing on the cozy patio furniture under millions of stars.

This was our second stay at The Cottage on Quail Hollow. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon! The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The skylight above the bed is such a unique feature, you can see the many stars at night from the comfort of the bed. We prepared quite a few meals at the house and everything we needed was there. There were even spices and coffee in the cupboard! The host, Chris, provides ample supplies such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The neighborhood is very quiet. The backyard has comfortable seating and the view is stunning! We hiked a lot during our week. The nice part about staying in the Village of Oak Creek is that we got to drive scenic 179 into Sedona and back many times throughout our stay. The views are amazing! We had an awesome vacation. Thanks for everything Chris!

If you are looking for peace ,quiet and beauty this is for you.Hikers will appreciate the back gate and convenience to Sedona trails.Commuication with Chris was excellent. We could not have made a better choice.We would love to return someday.

The cottage felt more like a home. It’s located on a quiet road not far from the main drag. There is a stunning mountain view from the backyard with a walking trail. The house had all the basics and more (i.e.: walking poles, umbrella, etc.). Chris is an excellent host- responding quickly to any questions and providing us with numerous restaurant and hiking trail options. We were very happy to stay here and would love to come back.
