"Ranch at Royal Oak is a great house with a spectacular host. The communication was stellar. The house is in excellent condition with everything you need right at the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end towels, linens, utensils, glasses, knives, bowls, plates, etc. The kids and adults loved the pool and fishing on the dock. Access to St. Michael's is very easy. We will be back!"

"This place was perfect! We stayed there one night before our cousins bridal shower since we are from PA and it really is a hidden gem! They really went above and beyond! Highly recommend staying here. Right by the water and walking distance to restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again! Hosts were great and very responsive when I had a quick question! "

"We had a fabulous time at this home! What a perfect place to end summer! We had a great time reading on the dock, watching the sunset and the birds - including bald eagles! There are also lots of ways to enjoy the outside - firepit, grill, kayaks, crab traps, etc. And the beds are super comfy and the kitchen well outfitted for cooking delicious food. Truly a gem!"

"Beautiful experience. The property was right on the bay with spectacular views and sunsets. The house itself was wonderful. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and antiques.The kitchen had everything needed. AC and overhead fans provided excellent comfort. Kayaks and a canoe were great for cruising on the bay. They also had bikes available (we brought our own). Biking is a pleasure on the rural and flat terrain of the Eastern shore. Lastly (but not least)...

"Wow! What an incredible property and house. We were a group of families with small kids, and it was heaven for them playing in the pool, on the dock, on the playground, and in the expansive yard. Lots of beautiful sunsets on the patio for the grown-ups too. We never had to leave. Can't recommend highly enough. "

"Thank you for sharing your space with us, we had a lovely stay at the Waterfront Property. Very homey decor. The carriage house was very nicely built! Everything was well equipped and comfortable! We enjoyed time on the Kayaks and on the back patio during morning and sunset, saw a few cool birds! Thank you. **However, the stairs in the main house were tricky, with no railing- could be difficult for those with mobility issues or need bathroom during the night. **"

"The house and property were beautifully maintained. We had 3 generations and everyone was able to get quiet moments and yet be able to be all together. The dining table was well used with lunches/dinner/games. "

"The home was spacious and clean. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely...

"House was perfect for 5 adults and infant. Everyone had ample space but could come together. Property was spotless. Pool and dock were wonderful. Landscaping needs attention and it would have been nice to have a fire pit for the evenings. Otherwise a great place and space!!"
