Secluded mountaintop cabin, 40 acres, views of Buffalo River below & wildlife

In the Ozark mountains, this cozy cabin provides the ideal getaway spot for your upcoming trip. The 40 Acre property is located adjacent to the Buffalo National River with three corners bordering the National Forest. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a comfy living room with large windows providing views of the many mountain ranges and the Buffalo River 400 feet below. Looking just-on the other side of the river lies Gene Rush Wildlife management area, managing Deer, Elk, Black Bear, and Turkey. So keep your eyes open on our large porch that offers a good spot to quietly watch the wildlife such as deer, bald eagles, turkeys…. Perfect setting for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Gather your group in the fully stocked kitchen, equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances to prepare delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the large dining table, or step outside and fire up the grill for a barbecue under the stars.

When it's time to unwind, take advantage of the cabin's modern amenities, including free WiFi, a smart TV with Xsatellite/cable channels, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The game room is sure to keep the kids (and the young at heart) entertained with a variety of video games and other fun activities.

As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit and soak in the stunning water views, or cozy up with a good book from the cabin's extensive collection. With its perfect blend of comfort and adventure, our 3-bedroom cabin is the ideal destination for your next Ozarks getaway.

Beautiful setting

The house sits on a hill overlooking a valley with no structures in sight. We loved the privacy! Comfortable house, very clean and with a well stocked kitchen. Don’t forget to check out the stars from the deck. Thanks for a lovely experience!

The cabin was amazing. The view was spectacular. The cabin was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Stocked with everything you would need. They even have toothbrushes. It’s off the beaten path a little but everything in the area is. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beginning of Summer Fun Family Getaway

The beginning of the summer we like to getaway and hike, spend time together away from the hustle and bustle of cities together as a family, enjoying nature and having fun. This cabin did not disappoint!! The attention to detail for this property was fantastic, location was secluded and off the beaten path, but so worth it!! The views were amazing and we loved the humming birds!

Beautiful property!

Everything about this cabin and the surrounding property is just perfect! The quiet, remote location was exactly what we needed. We loved sitting on the porch reading, eating, and star-gazing. The fire pit is excellent and had an ample wood pile. The cabin is comfortable and so clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and everything we needed to cook our meals. Grocery stores and off-property adventures aren't too far away. We all agree this was our favorite vacation spot, and we'll be back soon!

Amazing Experience

Gorgeous house and wonderful views. Our family of four stayed here for a week and loved every minute. We could have had another family with us and still had plenty of room. As advertised: nice amenities, very clean, well stocked. Not a single complaint and wild recommend 100%. Thank you!

Beautiful property, difficult host

Loved the cabin. Didn’t love being charged an additional 250 for a dirty towel and a deck chair that was broken before we arrived. I’d recommend going somewhere else if you want to avoid predatory charges. There are tons of other options in the area that are just as beautiful. Won’t be staying here and won’t be using VRBO ever again.

Spring Break “Break”

What a cooooool place! So many little details about this cabin that make it the best experience. The game room is absolutely fantastic and definitely sets the stage for some good ole’ fashion family smack talk! Honestly, it’s probably the best cabin we’ve stayed at in Arkansas. The view alone is enough to make it worthwhile.

Beautiful View!

You can tell they care about their travelers comfort and all the little extras was a nice surprise.Would recommed to anyone wanting a quiet getaway and close to great hiking! The kids room was awesome!We will be back!

We had the most relaxing stay at BRE! Gorgeous, peaceful cabin that felt like home! No neighbors to be seen, just an amazing view! So much to do at the cabin if you want to stay home, but close to great hikes and local resturants if you feel like getting out. Everything was super clean and well stocked with quality items (even toothbrushes & toothpaste). Plenty of towels, supplies, blankets & pillows. Adults, kids, and pets all voted for a return trip!

Awesome Arkansas Home

Beautiful location high on a bluff overlooking the Buffalo River valley. The view from the deck is spectacular impressing everyone in our group. The location is just minutes away from a public access point on the river and a comfortable drive to several outfitters. We arrived a few hours prior to check-in, but a quick message later we were given permission to enter allowing us to unpack our things and enjoy the river. The house is smartly organized which offered comfortable beds for our group of 10. We found the cabin spotlessly clean. The kitchen has very fine appointments and the beds were well made with fresh linens. Our days were spent kayaking on the river or hiking beautiful nearby trails. Because of that, we barely used the game room, but that is a very smart option on days where the weather forces you indoors. Thank you for a terrific stay!
