DO NOT STAY HERE! OUR ROOM HAD BED BUGS! We stayed here for three nights, and I noticed some bites on my arm. I thought they were mosquito bites from my hiking, until I noticed blood on the covers, and a bed bug next to it. I took a picture of it, and showed it to the Clerk at the front desk. He was concerned and contacted his Manager who promised us a full refund, but we had to contact Expedia and explain what happened. The agent contacted the hotel, and it wasn’t until I got home that I saw the hotel had only refunded one night. They lied. I contacted Expedia back and I was given $75 in points. I was really expecting more for all the days that I was itching , the medication I had to buy, and the mental stress of having to deal with bringing bed bugs into my home. I sent Expedia pictures, and I only got $75 for the anguish. I have been a loyal customer of Expedia for more than 20 years and this is how they treat loyal costumers. I will be thinking twice before using their services again. Our room #224, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Room was very clean and we appreciated pet friendly although 20.00 per day per pet seemed excessive when other charge a one time fee per pet. We were placed near an exit which was wonderful for the pets. Beautiful gazebo and overlooking Marina, can’t beat this view. However BBQ was filthy and the brush to clean it had no bristles. After asking they were able to find another brush. We wanted to use the beautiful fire pit but there was no propane. Room looks recently renovated so was clean…the bathroom tap while lovely, is the wrong size for the sink so water overflowed at the back or drenched is when washing. Good deal on weekend reservation through Expedia.ca Liked: modern fixtures, room layout & ample storage, water view, quiet Disliked: staying across the hall from the cleaners room (units 8 & 10) due to strong chemical smell & supply carts in the hallway, limited service hours, visible mold, peeling vinyl on the vanity, fallen shower curtain rod we had to fix ourselves, parking across the street

Overall good stay. I was there for a short visit but had a good one night stay. Hotel is near a lake with is a nice view. Quiet and chill location. Extra parking availability close by.

The recent renovation of this property is really amazing. A lot of thought was put into it. I am so glad that we booked an Oceanview room. The Sechelt Inlet is so beautiful at high and low tide. We arrived by bus on BC Transit. It’s a short walk into town. No question, we’ll be back!

Very limited parking - parking lot across road. Slightly older room, pillows were horrible (huge and hard), bathroom faucet spilled over onto counter, vanity was worn. Staff very friendly and attentive. Quiet with a nice view. In general, pretty good for the price.

Nice clean little hotel. Pub and restaurant with great views right next door. The food boy thing that would have made it better is if they fixed the noisy window fan. I was in the same room just over a year ago and the fan was very noisy then as well. You cannot have the fan on and watch TV at a reasonable sound level.

We really like the Spot, however this stay was not as pleasant as our last stay 1 year ago, due to the lack of sleep we endured because of the constant noice we heard above us from 8 pm to 3am in the morning.. constant walking and noice like things been dropped on the floor. Also the chairs they had out back to sit and watch the Bay Area were gone. We did borrow chairs from our friends so we could sit out in the evenings and early morning.. it was so neat to watch the tide ebb and flow. Other than this we really enjoyed the Spot. It is close to a nice restaurant as well that has outside seating overlooking the harbour. Food is very good 😊

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Nice sitting area to look out into the bay. The location is quiet and walkable to go into the town. I would stay here again
