This was our third time staying at Moonview Ranch. Rain or shine it is perfect for a relaxing weekend. The property is beautiful and the cabin so quaint. We absolutely love the wood burning fireplace. We will be back!

Perfect stay for annual cheese festival

Peaceful Retreat

This was the most relaxing getaway! This serene property offers amazing views and it is so quiet. The cabin is simple but has everything you need, including a comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. The wood fireplace makes it so cozy. Great place to curl up and read a book. Hidden Gem

This small cozy cabin is just what we were looking for. If you are traveling with or without your fur baby this property is perfect for a get away. The views are amazing. The property is great for evening walks or to let your dog run. Sharon is available if needed and is quick to reply. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property.

Great getaway!

My wife and I along with our pup Maggie really enjoyed the tranquil setting of the property. Maggie was able to roam around and explore her surroundings, and be a country dog for a few days. It was a great place to hunker down and escape the rat race for a bit. It was hard to leave but we hope to be back one day!

Remote Getaway

This cabin is located out of town and provides a cozy living situation with a remarkable view. The cabin is basic but comfortable. We’ll stocked. Gail, the property manager, and Ron, the owner, were quick to respond when we needed some assistance.

Unique Place

This is not your ordinary rental home. This is a unique place that offers you an opportunity to truly enjoy the beauty of the area in a comfortable and functional living space. Sharon (owner) has put obvious effort into making this home special and was excellent with communication. Like other guests, I was sorry to leave and hopeful for the opportunity to stay here again.

Writers Retreat

We arrived on the first night of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, which was also a super blue moon in September, a most auspicious beginning! We love this property which was most conducive to writing everyday. The kitchen was conveniently well-appointed, the outside deck a great place to hangout, and the sunsets as others have noted are an everchanging panorama of awe and beauty. And it was so quiet! We'd love to come back.

Hidden Gem (take 2)

This was our 2nd time to this property. On clear days you can see the ocean and watch the marine layer roll in. The views are breathtaking. Sunsets, awe inspiring. Stargazing, incredible. We spent many hours under the night sky this trip. Many skunks were out this time and our dog narrowly avoided getting sprayed, but that’s nature for you. Thank you Sharon for offering this gem for others to enjoy. We will be back.

Great get away for a real get away

Remote but easy to get to the place to be: The Barlow in Sebastopol. Wonderfully well stocked for those who want to do a bit of eating in. Beds are comfy; towels are nice. The place itself is cabin clean. Wonderful sunsets all to your self. In winter months, come prepared to bundle up. Propane heater in bedroom is toasty but need to stoke the fire to stay warm through the night in the LR. Be sure to ask if there is enough fire wood for your stay.

TOO COLD

My husband and I are in our 70's and 80's. We arrived Monday and left the next day, Tuesday, because we were too cold. The only heating source available was a wood burning stove in the living room and a propane fireplace in the bedroom. We cannot use a wood burning stove or fireplace because we e are allergic to the smoke. It would be nice if they had a propane heater in the living room also. The other problem we had for this day and age there was only 1 electric outlet in the living room/dining area. It would be nice if they had some electric outlets by the kitchen table. Other than that, the location/views were outstanding.
