Summary:
Bring the whole crew — and up to four dogs — to a Sebastopol fun house where pool floats, foosball, and shaved-ice plus ice-cream treats keep everyone playing all day. Seat up to 16 for family dinners inside or on the terrace while one adult works from a quiet desk. The stocked kitchen means you rarely need to leave. Sleeps 8 in four bedrooms. Heated pool, private spa, and redwood terraces — Marimar Estate 0.7 mi away.
The Space:
This is the kind of hilltop Sebastopol home where the itinerary writes itself: pool floats after breakfast, foosball before lunch, shaved ice and homemade ice cream by afternoon, and a 16-seat family dinner that starts indoors and finishes under the stars.
Wake to hummingbirds on the covered front porch, then let the day turn into a friendly tournament across 3,500 sq ft built for play. The great room sets the tone — sofas grouped for conversation, a turntable and record collection for whoever picks the soundtrack, and puzzles plus board games stacked for every age. Stream a movie, spin a record, or start a living-room game night before anyone even reaches for the pool.
Cook, snack, and feast without leaving — the chef's kitchen comes loaded with a KitchenAid mixer, espresso machine, blenders, food processor, panini press, shaved-ice maker, ice-cream maker, popcorn popper, electric fondue set, and a hand-turned pasta machine, plus pantry staples ready when you arrive. Seat up to 16 around the indoor dining table for big family dinners, then carry dessert to one of the terrace tables for al fresco nights.
Need a quiet hour? A laptop-friendly desk and fast Wi-Fi let one adult work remotely while kids sprint to the game room for foosball, ping-pong, basketball, cornhole, giant Jenga, or a craft-table project.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Dive into the heated 20×40 pool with floats and inflatables ready poolside, then drift to the private spa as redwoods catch the last light. Multiple terraces step through the property — outdoor sofas, a gas barbecue, several dining spots for long meals outside, hammocks strung between trees, and binoculars on the porch for wildlife watching. The fully enclosed yard gives kids and up to four dogs a safe place to run.

Other Things to Note:
This hilltop home stays naturally cool in the redwood canopy, with limited air conditioning available on warmer days. Pool heating must be requested at least 2 days in advance ($150 per calendar day, available April-October only); spa heat is complimentary year-round. The primary renter must be 25 or older. Up to four dogs (80 lbs each max) are welcome in the enclosed yard — please keep them leashed on nearby trails. Gathering space comfortably seats 16 for meals; overnight occupancy is capped at 8 per permit.
The home shares a well system with nearby neighbors — common in this area. From time to time, our water vendor may visit the property for routine pump maintenance. These stops are quick and do not require access inside the home; the vendor will not interrupt your stay.
