"We went to check in around 5pm since check in was at 4. Luckily we were able to leave our kids with family while we went to check out the place and unload our luggage. We arrived and parked in the street like we were told and walked to the back around the whole yard on an unfinished path. We had to step over a large roof drain pipe to get to the basement door which was not very safe. "Lots of space, great location, suited our extended family well."

"Stayed here for a weekend wedding, loved the property. So close to town, only a few blocks from the ferry (5 minute walk) and maybe 15 minute walk to the market/Flynns. Clean and beautiful house, lots of light, great stay."

"This property is steps away from the ferry, steps away from the beach and steps away from food, drinks and music. We had a great time. Cassie greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed!!!! She also went out of her way to make my daughters 21st birthday special. Highly recommend this property."

"This was probably the most outstanding property we have ever rented...and we travel and rent all over the country frequently. The home is beautiful, immaculate and so serene. "My husband, son and I stayed there for a lacrosse tournament at Stony Brook. The apt. was very clean and perfect for 2-3 people. The AC is run by the main house and when it got a little warm the first day I reached out to Stu and he and his wife quickly lowered the temp for us and it was perfect. Cute neighborhood-we visited Stony Brook village, Port Jeff and Sunken Meadow Park in our off time. Last year we stayed in Patchogue which was nice but we enjoyed the North Shore this year. "We wanted an inexpensive place to stay out on Long Island for July 4th weekend. We were a 15-20 minute drive to the beautiful beaches of Robert Moses and a 2 hour drive from Montauk.We were able to stay for a very reasonable price over a notoriously expensive weekend.Jenelle's communication was direct, welcoming and helpful.We would definitely stay here again!"

"Quiet and beautiful and comfy"

"Wonderful 2nd time staying at this location. Easy walk to the beach and great restaurants in ocean bay park. Biggest issue was not having anyone to text with questions. At other properties we have stayed we could contact the owners- Vacasa didn’t allow for this here. When the codes given to us didn’t unlock the bicycles we needed, it took a long time to get a hold of someone and the people who texted back gave generic answers and couldn’t help. They gave us the same code we had already received....

"This was the perfect home to share with our family. My wife and I booked this vacation rental for our two sons, their wives, and our three young grandchildren (ages 4, 3, and almost 3). "The house was clean. Communication with management company was subpar. We got scripted responses to all questions, and false information. For example, we asked if hot tub was working and was told it was. When we arrived, the hot tub was broken and dirty. Also, check-out is at 10am and there is nowhere to leave belongings if you’d like to stay in FI for the day. They should allow a place to keep luggage prior to departure. Overall, great and clean house and amazing location!"
