Welcome to this newly decorated studio condo where you will be surrounded by comfort and creativity, a fully stocked kitchen and an elevator ride to the roof for an up close view of the Space Needle! This eclectic studio (388 square feet) includes a cozy private sleeping alcove with curtains and a sofa that pulls out to a full bed. The perfect retreat for a couple, corporate traveler, small family or a girlfriends' weekend.

This is the perfect location without a car! The Montreux Condos are walking distance to some of Seattle's best tourist attractions: the Seattle Center (which includes the Space Needle, Children's Museum, Pacific Science Center, Chilhuly Garden and Glass), MoPOP museum, Seattle Aquarium, and Pike Place Market. This Belltown location offers access to some of Seattle's best restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and the Downtown shopping area. And if you are a sports fan you are less than a mile away from the brand new Climate Pledge Arena (home of the Kraken NHL team) and less than 3 miles from Seahawks, Mariners, and Sounders' stadiums so you can enjoy football, baseball, or soccer games!

PROPERTY HISTORY AND HIGHLIGHTS

Built with a touch of European style, The Montreux was completed in 1999 by developer Christopher Koh of Coho Real Estate. Recognizing that Seattle’s downtown community was lacking buildings with character and charm, Koh’s vision of exceptionally affordable condos with timeless appeal came to fruition through design collaboration with John Boileau Architects and Dianne Shapard Interior Design. Together, they paid special attention to European architecture theme and details as well as creating an energy efficient, environmentally sound building. The 7 story building and features of the building include fitness center, club room, roof-top deck with expansive view of Elliott Bay, Lake Union and downtown, controlled access to building. The Montreux is a great pied-a-terre, close to everything that downtown has to offer.

Street parking. Paid parking is from 8am-8pm and there is a 4 hr time limit (please follow all parking signs). The City of Seattle uses the app PayByPhone. It would be helpful to download it prior to arrival.

You MUST check In using the Call Box at the front door. Check in instructions and the door code will be emailed 2 days prior to arrival. A fob will be on the kitchen counter to give you access to the Main front door during your stay.

* This condo comfortably sleeps 3, but House Rules allow 4 people. It is a Studio Condo (388 square feet). Maximum occupancy for this property is 4 people (see House Rules)

* If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions!

* Must be 25 years old to reserve home.

* Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age.

Our small family of 3 had a great time in this VRBO! It was very clean and cozy. It fit my husband, my 4 year old, and I great! And was also very close to cafes and restaurants as well as attractions at the Seattle Center. It was about a 15 minute walk to Pike Place and we were also able to walk to Pier 66 for our cruise. The balcony was also nice and stayed dry even in the drizzling weather!

The location was perfect to walk to the major attractions and several restaurants and bars. You can uber here from the airport and not need a ride until its time to go back. The condo is perfect for 2 people who need a place to sleep near all the good stuff. The place was clean, with washer/dryer and good communication with the host.

This apartment is in a great location, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to everything in Seattle. The apt. is compact with everything we needed perfect for a couple. We enjoyed our stay in Seattle very much! Communication with property manager was easy and she was very attentive.

My son and I met in Seattle to have a parent kid weekend. Pullout couch perfect for him and the bedroom provided enough privacy for me. Beautiful views from the roof. Easy walking distance to local attractions. Would stay there again.

Loved the location. Able to find easy off street parking and could pay per day. Lots of places to eat, get groceries etc nearby. Was very safe building entrance. One issue we had was due to technology and I didn't really anticipate- the building entrance requires a code. Sent via text. I didn’t forward to my travel partner and my phone died. My phone also had reservation contact info- the owner would have buzzed us in I’m sure but I inly remembered first name and building list only has last name and first initial and it was midnight! luckily some other renters we’d seen earlier had midnight craving for chicken and let us in. So - if you stay remember to write down or share that front door code!! Just in case! The condo door also requires downloading app, getting on wifi, use of bluetooth- which worked well and owner provided great instructions! Someone with less phone savvy or tech savvy- may find frustrating. My dad, would have left and went to a hotel. Lol! (Just the stress of all the tech =4 star) Cute balcony! Other balconies touch each other so someone could go balcony to balcony- we discovered slider didn’t lock and wood brace wasn’t quite long enough but informed owner and she was very receptive to concern (safety concern reason for 4 not 5 rating) and she is making sure patio locks and extra wood brace for slider available. We had to cut stay short due to death in family, was very understanding and made sure we got check out instructions on short notice.

The property was in a great location to Space Needle, Pike Place Market and tour pick up locations. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Whoever said Seattle is the rainy city?😂😂 We were able to check off our list to see Snoqualmie Falls and Mt Ranier in addition to the downtown experiences. This was also our first experience with the monorail that got us back and forth to the airport…easy peasy. Our condo had all the basics + a rooftop patio with an awesome view of the Space Needle.

This apartment was super cozy and felt like home. It was walkable to a lot of tourist sites or close to transit! We loved the roof top patio so much. If I go back will most definitely stay here again! Any communication was very detailed and had quick, immediate responses.

Brilliant with everything you need for staying in the city. Local is great and convenient for all places in the city. We walked but the transport is great. Make sure you use the ferries. Karen was so helpful and responsive and we only had a slight hiccup on check in. Karen kept us updated and sorted the problem. Would highly recommend.

This location is walking distance to the Space Needle and many restaurants. Only a 20 minute walk to Pike’s Market as well. Perfect size for a couple to use as a central hub to do what you want in Seattle. Big thanks to Karen for installing the A/C earlier than normal as the temperature spiked higher than expected in Seattle.

I was in Seattle for a week attending a dental conference. I wanted a place somewhat close to the conference in South Lake Union. This studio is very nice and clean -- perfect for one person or a couple--and central to all of Belltown. There's no need for a car as everything is walking distance. The rooftop deck is awesome with excellent views of The Space Needle, downtown and the Olympia Mountains. Karen is very helpful and responsive to text messages. Make sure your phone is charged at all time as the door key is a virtual one (the only annoying thing) . I would stay again if I return.
