"It’s was lovely! A very special and beautiful property! Wonderful to be able to walk to dinner and shops. Unfortunately, with only a one-night stay, the late check-in (4p) and early checkout (10a) felt a bit rushed. It would be best enjoyed with more nights, or a slightly later checkout. "This house is all about the location! It sets on a beautiful property and is a mile from access to Acadia Park loop road, not to mention close to town. More than enough space for 5 adults to lounge around. The weather was starting to turn to fall so using the fire pit and having the fireplace was so nice. Had a question, and the property manager was so quick to answer. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight...

The new Acadia visitor center just opened about 12 minutes away you can catch the free shuttle from there to Bar Harbor, hiking trails etc. Recommend, wish we had stopped the first day to find this out. "Nice place and really enjoyed it. But can't get five star because it was shown at wrong location on VRBO app (location is a very important item) enhance was very confusing to find. It is on the north side of the island not by downtown. Also water pressure was low and would turn off upstairs shower to trickle if others in use."

"This was the PERFECT spot for my family and I to stay while exchanging vows in Acadia. The host was very easy to communicate with. The house was everything we needed but the best part was the privacy. It’s completely hidden off of the road and no neighbors on top of you. "I loved it! I used this as a base camp to go hiking in Acadia NP, and it was perfect for that, but I also could have spent my entire two days at the property and been very content. As it was, I slept deeply on my air mattress in the loft and watched the beautiful sunrises while sitting at the shore and while eating breakfast at the table inside.
