"Room was good, nice furnishings and comfy bed. Lovely breakfast at Duck cafe. No sign of clock radio as described or Cowshed toiletries - they were generic. Bathroom was in need of a good scrub and the curtains dragged on the floor so the bottom 30cm were filthy. However good location& friendly staff We did choose the hottest day to stay so the room was quite hot !"

"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Durham House Hotel. Communication was great from the moment it was booked to the arrival day. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, car park, places to eat and drink. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with large soft towels provided.
