This wonderful and newly remodeled Sea Ranch family home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac for privacy and features a serene ocean view across the meadow. There's also a shared pool for staying cool on warm days.

The living/dining room is spacious and comfortable with a gas fireplace and this home has a well-equipped kitchen.

There are lots of windows and window seats throughout, so curl up with your favorite book or gaze at the view. If you want to see that special TV program or DVD you've been waiting for, there are TVs in both the living room and master bedroom served by Dish Network Satellite. Up to four guests can stay here comfortably in two bedrooms.

You'll find a hot tub on the deck in a fenced courtyard so you can melt the cares away while luxuriating.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Magical!

We loved our stay at this property. The set up with great, the furniture and entertainment was top-notch, the beds were comfortable, and everything was so clean and fresh! It was really nice to have the maps and binder of info about the surroundings, too. I've not seen a dark sky full of stars in a loooong time (we came in from deep in urban life!) - it was such a perfect reset. Thanks!

A perfect place to ring in 2020!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with 4 adults and a dog while saying goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020. It was truly a magical way to ring in the new year. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated since the pics shown (which surprised and delighted us!) and the kitchen was equipped extremely well. The views were to die for, esp from the master bedroom and the main living area. We enjoyed our time chilling in the hot tub, walking the bluff trail and making epic dinners. Very comfortable home. We'd love to return one day, but super bummed that dogs are not allowed anymore. Not to mention the 6-day limit on rentals during holidays... ugh. Maybe one day the owners/Vacasa will loosen up those rules? We sure hope so. This place will not disappoint!

Close to coast line. Quiet and peaceful

Great location, close to the town of Gualala and Ocean shore. The house is sort of a L-shaped building with a private deck and enclosed yard in the middle. Great for bringing your pet and for privacy.

Perfect Home

This is a perfect Sea Ranch rental in my opinion. Close to bluff trails, but also close to town. Lovely floorpan with unusual elements - and great amenities (like a large dining-game table, fully stocked kitchen, and charming bay-window reading nooks). Also, the customer service we got when we needed anything was the best EVER. Joanne Norwood (our Vacasa agent) was superb!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely house!

Clean, comfortable beds and great ocean views from all the rooms. We brought or dog and the terra-cotta tile floor made it easy to stay with a pet. The fenced in outdoor area was helpful with the dog as well. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful, private, perfect

Wonderful in every way except the beds are ridiculously hard. Side sleepers might hate it! Loved the gas fireplace and charcoal grill outside, the appliances are all up to date and the kitchen is well appointed!

Quiet Celebration Space

This was our first time visiting Windrow for a vacation and we loved it. We usually just go camping to celebrate our anniversary and our son's birthday but this year we wanted less work and more ease. We found that here. The space is light, bright and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of cooking utensil I could have needed which was a great surprise. We decided to run into Gualala on our second morning and grab some pancake mix, strawberries and maple syrup. It was a delight to find a cute little electronic mixing beater for my egg whites... perfect for extra fluffy pancakes! The stove, fridge, and dishwasher made cooking and cleaning a dream. I LOVE that stove! We also really enjoyed having a washer and dryer. After a hot tub it was nice to have warm towels and dry suits for the next go round. Utility room was clean, organized and well stocked. We added to the supplies, a half bag of charcoal. Great to discover a little charcoal cooker on one of the back porches for our hot dogs! The household decor and lighting was perfectly inviting and we found all kinds of little touches that made our stay have that little something extra. My 17 year old loved playing us some melllow music on the living room speaker.. that gave our lazy day such ambiance. Our 11 year old birthday boy loved reading by the fireplace in the afternoon. Our pup so enjoyed sitting next to him on her bed on the floor.. she was SO relaxed. The dimming switches on so many of the lights allowed the kitchen and living rooms to match our moods as we dined and relaxed into the setting ocean sunset. My husband and I loved waking up in the master bedroom and looking out at the ocean through the picture windows. Every bit worth every penny. Thank you and we look forward to returning next year. Amazing home, amazing location, very private

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful, very clean home. The view from most of the home is of the ocean. It's not real close, but an open view and a close walk to get up close and personal. The home has comfortable window seats in both bedrooms as well as the living room. I spent most of my time sitting there reading - relaxing and comfy. The bedrooms are quite large and very comfortable. We used the hot tub each night and morning as it cooled off at night. The home is very clean and contains everything you would need. It is very private with an enclosed backyard perfect for a pet, but the wall is not so high you can't enjoy the view. There is a charcoal BBQ and a gas fireplace. We will be back, it was a great home to spend the week end in.

Just what the Doctor ordered.

Would easily have been a 5 star but I feel when there is a hot tub on the premise charging g a hot tub fee is kind of like chrging a microwave fee or a television fee. Should have been included in price or stated in description. Otherwise the home more than satisfied. I love the walking trails and how close we were to ocean. Beaches are about a mile maybe more away but bluff is beautiful. Weather was perfect. Storms at home sunshine here. Would suggest lowering outside fence by 1-2 feet so view of ocean is not blocked. Thank you for allowing us to come and celebrate our new retirement.

Had a wonderful time. Perfect pet friendly retreat. Has all necessary amenities and would definitely return. Only minor issue is needs some yard maintenance as there are weeds with foxtails in enclosed area and they could get in dogs ears, nose or paws.

Windrow Retreat is OK

This home is located about 1/5th of a mile from the coast. The view is pretty nice on a clear day but obstructed by the border wall from the backyard unless standing. The home is bordering outdated but is kept relatively clean and most everything is functional. There were a few items out of order but nothing that caused concern. The hot tub is older and just ok (not nearly worth the price of the hot tub fee). It is a smaller unit but comfortable for a family of 4 or two couples I'd say. Location is around 2 miles from Gualala so it's convenient for groceries and restaurants. A major thing to consider are the fees and taxes on this unit. The advertised price was $118.75/night but after taxes and fees the grand total was $257/night. So it is not at all the bargain that is advertised. Considering this and that the place is mediocre for the region be sure to look around some before booking this one.

Relaxing stay in Sea Ranch

Booking was very easy, and property management was quick to respond to inquiries. The home had everything we needed (well-equipped kitchen, towels, sheets, TV, internet, etc.). The location is fantastic -- great views of expansive fields & ocean, close to walking trail, short drive from Gualala. Not to mention that the rental is dog-friendly, which is a big plus. Only minuses are that some things could use updating, fixing, and/or deep-cleaning (some worn carpet, stains on some throw pillows, a lot of tile/grout countertops & floors which trap dirt, screen doors that didn't open/close very well, and the house seemed overall a bit dusty). But overall nothing that would keep me from coming back.

Lovely, quiet, comfortable

My family enjoyed the layout of this space - plenty of cozy, pillowy nooks to be on your own, and then one large common area with a gas fireplace. This is a great place to read a book, lounge about and listen to the sounds of the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped with an excellent Viking range. There's no WIFI/internet available, which was a little inconvenient. The town of Gualala is conveniently close - about a five minute drive away. The hot tub was HOT, which is just how I like it. We wished we could have stayed longer and we're hoping to be back here soon!

Relaxing

Easy check-in/check out. Beautiful layout of house with everything equipped just like home. Including our dog was a bonus! Property clean enough, but could be cleaner...corners of kitchen and dining area were dusty. (Also, found a little roach on the kitchen counter.) Cleanliness problem will not deter us from returning! Would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Pretty much the best
