"The property is nestled away on the country side of the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suite only steps away from the ocean . The pool is made of stones and is refreshing , especially with a cocktail. We scheduled a couples massage with hot rocks and let the stress of the World melt away . What a lovely retreat with Nature ! We will be back soon!"

"My time at Fort Young was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly, and whenever I had an issue, I called the front desk and they quickly resolved it. The hotel was clean, and the food was delicious; I highly recommend the breakfast—it’s very good. I will definitely be visiting Fort Young Hotel again."

"Good Spot, great view but not within walking distance of anything touristy"

"Property was exactly as described in the photos they provided. Rooms have the basics, nothing fancy but were clean. Location was great for us in Roseau Valley as we needed to be in that area. Also very close to Roseau. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We got breakfast included which was a local fruit plate, coffee, fresh juice, toast and jam. They also do have eggs and bacon and pancakes available for an additional cost (which was tasty). "

"There was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adapters were provided for electronic device usage and charging. I would definitely visit here again."

"Easy access to the sea. Easy access to the town. One has to be alert when walking in the street because the traffic is to close to you."

"The address was not correct, it leads us to the hospital, I had to ask for directions. When the men arrived at the bottom of the stairs, they were sitting and never responded to the "hello", maybe because of my complexion, whatever, I didn't try to say hello again after that. The maids was nice and polite. "

"Beautiful property. The host was friendly and accommodating. Great location for exploring some of the major sights in the area. A natural spring on site provided delicious drinking water. I had a family cabin with a kitchenette and washing machine. There were no screens in the doors/windows, but the beds had mosquito nets. I rented an AWD vehicle to get there. "Amazing location and view. We were very impressed with the property. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Our room ws clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten track, and the road to get up there is rough so if taking a taxi, make sure the taxi includes the drive all the way up there. We heard that some drop you off on the main road, and it would be quite the hike, especially with bags. "

"Hotel staff service was good and cooperative. But our rooms did not have good Air Conditioning. AC in one of the two bedrooms and in living room were not working well at all and rooms were quite warm and humid for comfort."

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...
