"Only downsides were the exteriors. The need to check in inside the gift shop was not made clear. There was a chain link fence across the route that Google suggested, causing us delays as we had to drive around. "When the big hotels feel overwhelming, but you prefer to be close to the fun of Vegas, Candlewood was the perfect space to feel comfortable, get great sleep, and still be close to the action in a safe area. "Pros: Rooms are spacious, large restroom, balcony views and kitchenette or kitchen depending on rooms. Room service and luggage staff were great. Cons: Check-in staff needs more customer service, and smiles. Kitchen doesn’t come stocked and you need to call for everything. Walk to MGM grand casino can be lengthy (approx 1-mile) if you’re in tower 3. Lighting was dimmer than usual in the room. Bathroom makeup mirror was too low and needed to bring in a kitchen chair."

"The hotel overall was great. Clean rooms, clean kitchen, etc. The part that really threw me off was our experience with the concierge. After checking in, the concierge approached us about a free welcome package. They started by saying we could either pick out a free activity or dining experience. We chose dining and they said they would give us a 100usd gift card. Obviously we were interested but they kept us there for over 20 minutes as they proceeded to mislead us with new information.
