"Exceptional property - be prepared to sit on the back patio with a cup of coffee and day dream! Those views…My husband, myself and our 3 adult kids and spouses stayed here for a family wedding in town, no one once turned on the tv and they were barely on their phones - that says it all. We sat on the patio and talked and laughed, we hit golf balls, the boys rode mountain bikes, it’s a wonderful place and the hosts couldn’t be more lovely. "The basement apartment was perfect for my stay while attending a conference at the University in Corvallis. Although it is a basement apartment, it was cool and dry, and well designed. The bedroom is at ground level so where is a large bay window giving fresh air and natural light. The kitchenette had a full sized fridge, microwave, keurig, and a hot plate, so it was easy to cook dinner, and pack lunch. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and the check in and out was easy. "Beautiful property and VERY clean house! The house is much larger that it looks in the photos and the cleanliness is next level, even for an older house. The master bedroom mattress was great but all the other beds in the house were a little uncomfortable but not an issue for us. The horses and ranch dog are magical! Kona, the dog, came to visit us every morning and we LOVED her. You can also roam around and pet the horses in a BEAUTIFUL old barn. Keep in mind, there are workers on the property...

"This property is awesome and very unique. From the large indoor pool with diving board, to the old time cassette player, to the beautiful views. Our group of 12 people slept very comfortably (almost every bedroom has its own bathroom) and had a lot of fun. Only negative is that the electrical system was not fully working throughout the house. Once that is fixed I would recommend this property to any large group (friends, family, mixture of friends and family) finding a place to stay."

"The location of this property is ideal and very serene and peaceful. We loved hearing the birds and getting to see so many colorful varieties.The deck space is great, overlooking the pond and yard offering that country feel although you are only a few minutes from the city. The drive in to Salem was perfect. We loved being so close but also having this house to escape to.The space in the home is very large, lots of spaces to gather and visit. "Our stay was to move our son into college at OSU so we wanted something close to his townhouse and the college. This was a perfect location, walking distance to the football stadium and Goss Stadium. Definitely would stay here again when we come to watch him play baseball! Beds were comfortable and big! Each room has spacious beds and it was very comfortable in the house. We enjoyed our stay and would be back again!"

"Property is beautiful, and very spacious. Your own quite corner with visually stunning views down into the Santiam river. Inside and out was clean and plenty of opportunities for professional photos, which we used as our wedding reception venue."

"Took a coastal road trip with my sister. We hit all the good hikes! Booked this place as a central place to stay and loved it! We needed to come in a day early and she was very quick to respond to our request and accommodate. The only thing that threw off the trip was the road construction in front of the house and the spider webs that were waiting every morning at the entrance. We placed the broom by the front and knocked them down daily. None of this could that the owner control so still rated...

"This is a wonderfully detailed cottage in a small, quiet neighborhood. It’s located within walking distance of a grocery, restaurant and small shopping area. The house itself has fun features, well appointed rooms and stocked kitchen. Fun place to spend the weekend."

"The Townhome was perfect for our 4 day stay in Salem for our IM70.3. We had a really difficult time finding (and keeping) a VRBO as 2 previous had cancelled on us. After a few calls with Paula, call it divine intervention or luck this place came available…we booked. It was clean, great location, and easy check in/out. The only issue we had was navigating the stairs after our race but that’s OUR fault not Paula’s. "
