Peaceful and Beautiful

Our family took our 79 year old mom to see the painted churches. We all stayed at The Hideaway. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We all enjoyed spending time out on the porch just enjoying nature and family time. This place is so nice and clean and our host was very courteous and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay!!

Just got home from a lovely relaxing weekend. We stayed to go to a family wedding and wanted to stay with family members and not in a hotel. It was perfect for 7 adults to feel like we all had space and not on top of each other. We all got time to enjoy the outdoors and the back patio eating and drinking morning coffee. Great time had by all!!

The best stay ever!

We spent our Thanksgiving holidays at The Hideaway to be close to our family to celebrate in Flatonia. It was a magnificent stay and so peaceful and quiet. We loved reading about the property’s history and seeing the amazing and transformative renovation on this special home. The beds were comfy, the cleanliness was exceptional and the management, Sarah Kate, always responded immediately with helpful information. I cannot say enough to show how wonderful this property is. If you get a chance to stay here, you are very lucky. What a beautiful home! Thank you!!

Wonderful weekend

What I enjoyed the most was the quiet. Just to sit outside and listen to the crickets and occasional moos from the cows roaming around. Such a beautiful property, I hated having to leave! My only negative would be the uncomfortable chairs in the living room, but that would not deter me from visiting again. Loved reading about the history of the house, thanks for sharing your lovely place in the country.

This place was so nice I really didn’t want anyone to know about it … if you are looking to hideaway this is the place to do it in style … peaceful, serene and picturesque … no detail was missed in the design of this beautiful family getaway!
