"The main hotel was beautiful and comfortable - we switched to rooms there after discovering that the suites (which are in a separate building) didn't have elevators. "Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "The house was absolutely fabulous. We had a great time with our family, and it was so nice of the owner, Brid, to meet us there and show us around the property. She also gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The house is centrally located for quick day trips to Galway and the cliffs of Moore, etc. Our children particularly loved interacting with the donkeys and the cows on the perimeter of the property. "A fantastic stay. Very clean and kitchen well stocked. Have to say it’s the best entertainment system (choice of TV) I’ve ever had!Would definitely recommend -Joe contacted me to make sure everything was ok- I didn’t need anything else as everything was so good.
