"Great place to stay! Newly renovated, bright, clean and updated. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and plenty of dishware. The house was very comfortable and the front porch was so relaxing with the rockers. Garage was stocked with beach equipment and it's only a short walk and you are on the sand. Would definitely come back again!"

"This unit was in the perfect location. Everything you could possibly need under a 10 min walk. I was impressed with how thoughtfully decorated it was. Felt like home. The host was amazing, unfortunately I overslept bc I was up late with a migraine the night before. The cleaner woke me I felt terrible. I hurried to get packed up and they were very understanding and patient with me. So grateful to have found her accomodations. I will definitely book with Jennifer when ever I can while I'm visiting...

"Location is excellent. Short walking distance to every good restaurant and shop. The property was very nice and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The gym is very good sized for the size of the apartment building with 13 units in it. The management’s communication was prompt and friendly and responded to all of our wishes. However, the place is advertised as a hotel, but don’t expect services as in a hotel. It resembles more a short term rental home - no cleaning service and no lobby....

"Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! "This stay was great! Check in was very straightforward and easy, and the location is great for walking around the city. It was definitely in an area with a lot of unhoused folks on the streets nearby, but they were very respectful and I never felt unsafe. Walk just a few blocks in any direction and you’re in a nicer area with restaurants and stores and such.Would definitely stay again."
